Audio-Technica ATN3600LE Elliptical Replacement and Upgrade Stylus Needle for AT-LP60X, AT-LP60XBT, Sound Burger, AT-SB727

Replaced the stylus on my Denon 450usb turntable, perfect fit and easy snap on. Did not require rebalance. It was an immediate and noticeable improvement in overall sound quality and boost in low end. Definitely worth the price.

Even though it’s not listed as a supported turntable, this needle will fit into and drastically improve a Sony PS-LX250H turntable. Immediately noticed the difference between the stock conical needle versus the ATN3600LE eliptical needle. So much more depth of sound and tonal variation, it legitimately makes a huge difference in my setup. Very easy to install, high quality, and a great value. Highly recommend!

Very plug-&-play. Improvement over my original stylus. Good price. Makes the highs and lows much clearer than a conical stylus.

I'm looking for economical ways to make my vinyl sound better without a complete stereo upgrade. This gets 3 stars alone for being the exact same size/fit as the the equipment on my Sony PSLX310BT. I am not skilled at the actual replacement process, but didn't struggle too badly getting this on. There is noticeable improvement of sound quality with my much older vinyl, some of which isn't in great shape because in order to be able to afford first pressings, I bought lesser quality copies (i.e., not mint). I'm not sure I notice as much difference in terms of records that are newer/already higher quality, but the sound is a bit crisper. Is there a mind-blowing difference? No. But given it fits, I could get it on, it wasn't expensive, and there is audible improvement, I'm giving it 5 stars because I think it achieved its purpose--it's not a substitute for a turntable upgrade but my listening experience is improved.

With this sound is better

Marketed for the fixed VTF turntables tracking at 3.5g. However, I found it sounded distorted in a fixed arm that you cannot adjust. Currently have it tracking at 1.75g in an adjustable turntable, and it sounds pretty good.

Fit my at lp60x turntable perfectly. Easy to swap out and good upgrade to the turntable. Works well.

I’m never going back to round needles. This little thing sounds way clearer and gets deep inside the grooves.

Compré la aguja elíptica ATN3600LE para mi tornamesa Audio-Technica AT-LP60X después de más de un año de uso con la aguja original, y el cambio fue simplemente impresionante. Desde la primera reproducción se nota la diferencia: mayor claridad, mejor definición en las voces e instrumentos y, sobre todo, una capacidad mucho más precisa para leer los detalles del surco. Discos que antes sonaban “planos” o sin mucha vida, ahora tienen una profundidad y presencia increíbles. Probé con varios álbumes que ya conocía bien, y la mejora fue evidente. El sonido es más limpio, más abierto y con una separación mucho más clara entre elementos. Incluso detalles sutiles que antes pasaban desapercibidos ahora son audibles. Eso sí, también hace más evidente el estado real de los discos: si hay polvo o pequeñas imperfecciones, la aguja lo revela. Pero lejos de ser algo negativo, es una muestra de la mayor fidelidad que ofrece. La instalación fue muy sencilla (plug & play) y totalmente compatible con el modelo. En resumen: Si tienes un AT-LP60X y ya llevas tiempo usando la aguja original, este upgrade vale completamente la pena. No es un cambio sutil, es una mejora real en la experiencia de escucha. Totalmente recomendable.

Heute zugestellt bekommen , und nach ein paar fehlerhaften Einsetzungen am Tonarm klappte es trotz dessen , und da hört man schon ein Unterschied , Höhen , bass unter anderen . Es stimmt doch laut den positiven Kommentaren insgesamt . Danke Amazon

This is a good upgrade from the stock white shelled conical stylus that ships with many turntables. Or in my case; the new Sound Burger. I’m not an audio snob and I probably don’t have the best hearing. But I could tell the difference. It just sounded clearer compared to the conical stock stylus. Perhaps fuller or more detailed. One small thing is that since it rides ever so little deeper in the grove; it’ll pick up dust and cruft on some dirty old records. It’s not the end of the world; but keeping things clean is always a good idea. This is a relatively inexpensive upgrade over the original or replacement to an old worn stylus. Would definitely recommend!!
