Effective and easy to clean

Bought this sling as an an alternative to the one issued to me by a&e for a shoulder injury which was too hot to wear comfortably. Thumbs up from the physio too. I am an average sized female and had the adjustable strap at the shortest level so not so good for small people

Bought following rotor-cuff surgery as a waterproof sling to be used in the shower. For that purpose it's GREAT, but it's not the most comfortable thing, and I wouldn't recommend wearing it for any extended period of time.

The idea is fab but it doesn’t fit anything like as well as the heavy duty one supplied by the hospital. Even with straps pulled as short as possible, this provides no support. Might be different on a man.

I'm a 5 foot 9 male and the strap was a few inches too long, but you could make it much shorter this way. First, loosen the strap that goes through the clip, then fold the strap and feed it through the inside of the clip. See the images and video.

Far too big would only fit a large man. Don't buy if you are a woman.

Following shoulder surgery have used this daily but only for support temporarily whilst showering or when washing my medical support sling. It’s light, airy, supportive and dries easily and is ready for the next day. I have had a lot of use from it. Would recommend.

This works great for me, and once you put the strap on the cinch properly (see photos), it goes on and off easily and smoothly. A buckle might be nice, but isn't essential! I had rotator cuff shoulder surgery in early May. I ordered this for showers and possibly for getting in the pool, but I have not used it for either. I was fine showering without a sling and was happy to be unencumbered. I've not made it to the neighborhood pool yet, and I no longer need a sling full time. What I have used it for is for walks and outdoor activities. It is much cooler than my prescribed sling which gets really sweaty. Once you thread the cinch correctly (see photos), it is easy to just pull on the loose end to tighten it. If threaded properly, it does not slip. I like how I can easily cinch it tighter to really hold up my arm. To loosen it, pull the lip of the cinch back the opposite direction and this allows the strap to release and slide loose. It adjusts easier than my prescribed sling for which I have to undo the Velcro, adjust it, and re-Velcro (and these take two hands!). To put it on, I loosen it all the way, then put it over my head, insert my wrist, pull it under my elbow/arm, and then cinch it tight. When taking it off, loosen the cinch all the way and the sling drops off of my arm. Then, I remove it over my head. Also, this fits my long arm very well. If I back my elbow against the wall, my arm measures 20" to the longest fingertips and about 16" to the furthest part of my palm, just at the beginning of the fingers. This sling comes to about an inch before the furthest part of my palm, which is just long enough for me to use the thumb loop comfortably. I measure the sling at about 15" from the back of the elbow. I'm about 6' 3" tall and this was one of few slings I found that was long enough.
