Good item for fair price. Flashlight is very bright. Beam projects out long distance.

The only metal part is the tube. After my disappointment of realizing it would never be used as a baton. I realized it was a pretty good flashlight. It is very bright and light weight.

I live in Seattle, and every autumn in winter, we experience some power outage, storms, sometimes lasting for days. We have two lithium rechargeable flashlights for several years now. And each time the power went out, these flashlights lasted for 10 minutes before running out of power. They are pretty useless for power outage events. So I decided to purchase these old school three sell D battery, flashlights, they have an LED light instead of a bulb, which is more energy, efficient and brighter than a bulb. These flashlights will be perfect for our next power outage event.

This flashlight is not on the same level as Maglite. But it's real close and at fifth of the cost! My daughter is moving into her first home in a few days so I've been putting together a sort of emergency kit for her. My first thought for a flashlight was a Maglite 3D until I checked the cost. I soon realized that wasn't going to happen. I saw these Hilngav lights and after checking the reviews I ordered two. Honestly, I didn't expect much out of a $10 flashlight, but boy was I pleasantly suprised. The only fault I found with these is that the batteries rattle a little when installed. I fixed that by placing a small piece of foam tape on each battery. It's solid as a rock now. The light can't be adjusted for focus, but that's okay. It lights up the wood line in my back yard just fine at about 150'. Much brighter than the higher priced lights I currently have. All in all, this is a great deal I can recommend to everyone!

Lightweight, no frills, (so far) very reliable flashlight. Quite bright (yeah, it's relative I know -- I don't have a meter to measure the brightness. Just seems kind of bright to me). It's definitely not a MAG-LITE, so I don't think I'd use it as a weapon, but, well, that's not what this is for: it's for light!

its NOT a mag light.. BUT... for $20.. it has a REAL LED light inside. the beam is NOT adjustable, but I dont care. works well for just having around the house.

Simple and effective. They work really well with just 3V battery pack. Meaning if one uses the supposed 4.5V of the 3 cells, this will have a massive beam, really packs a punch. Quality wise, it's actually really good. Solid aluminium and a sturdy latching button. Front window is glass with a small protection rim so, be wary that hard falls can be damaging. My packs last over a month between charges as I only use these for dog walks.

I suppose, you get what you pay for. I had watched a few reviews before purchase and they all seemed alright… however, I got a three pack. Two of them seem alright. But one of them the glass is loose on the front and rattles around. So definitely not water resistant and rather annoying. I tried to screw it in better but it’s as tight as it will go. So not really too sure what to do. Not worth returning as it came from 🇺🇸 to 🇬🇧 and the other two seem okay for now. But just worth sharing my experience with what was received
