I used this particular drill along with a 3/8 in carbide tipped boring bit, and drilled a total of 13 5 in holes into hard granite black granite and did it all inside of an hour I was amazed! I really didn't expect it to be able to do that but it did. I then used feather and wedges to split the Rock it was a 3250 pound black granite Boulder, and I would not have been able to do it had it not been for this drill! It never got hot it got warm but it never got hot it never overheated the only thing I can see that the drawback on this particular drill as I wish I had had an extra battery it only comes with one battery. It's definitely worth the money that I paid for it the only thing that I can find that's equivalent to it is made by Milwaukee tool company and would have cost 10 to 15 times the amount that I paid for this one. I don't care that it's made in China there is a lot of stuff that comes out of China that's really good stuff I wish it was made in the States but it's not. And when you're trying to do work and you're just the average person you need to be able to buy something that will do the job, and do it well without it costing an arm and a leg. It's a really good tool the battery life was really good because it held up to an hour and a half of hard work. In that hour and a half I managed to drill 13 holes 4 to 5 in deep and a piece of black granite a boulder! It is an excellent value for the money it's obviously good quality because it holds up it doesn't break easily and the materials it's made from a rigid and tough!

For this price, I wasn't expecting professional grade, but I was surprised by the weight and build of the drill. I specifically bought it to bust concrete off several broken vinyl fence posts- and It did that- about 200 pounds worth on half a battery. I haven't tried to drill yet, but I expect it to work fine. For around the home, it's great. I have a corded hammer drill, but this one is so much easier to get out and use and it has all the power I need.

I’d buy it again only IF someone confirms waitley battery/charger works and “grease vs. oil” is clarified. 1. Hammer is heavy. It works on cement-hard Arizona caliche. 2. Instruction manual is useless, but the English is good. 3. 360 handle’s grip rotates cw to tighten, ccw to loosen (so handle can rotate). 4. Charging battery = pulsing OR solid red lite. Wait for green lite. 5. Battery drains in 8-15 minutes of intermittent operation. Then, hammer needs to cool off, even if you had another battery. 6. waitley 2 Pack 20V 6.0A replacement battery LOOKS like the same battery (4 leds, not 3 like most Dewalt). 7. Top round plastic piece (labeled “Oil cover” in some online pics) requires adjustable Spanner Wrench (not supplied) to open. MAYBE supplied grease goes inside. 8. Bits supplied are starters. They won’t last. Put a dab of grease on bit's base before inserting.
