Easy to set up. Nice large and clear display. Arrived day earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend the item and the seller.

First impressions were very good. This clock has a VA screen meaning it is bright and clear. It's a sort of hybrid between LCD and LED. During the day it's remarkably prominent, even in bright surroundings, but at night in total darkness it can illuminate the room to some degree. The brightness can be turned down although I found this setting too low. I think it would have been better to have more brightness settings than just a choice of two. I also think it would have been better if the time digits were coloured such as green or blue making it less glaring than bright white. The clock will also show the date and month in green (unless you have the alarm set) and the temperature in blue. You can choose between C and F. In default mode the clock will show the seconds but you can change this to show the day of the week instead if you wish. This mains clock has a button battery back-up in the event of a power cut retaining all settings although the screen will go blank while the power is off. It's also radio controlled so the clock is always correct to the second.

The alarm clock is nice looking. Very easy to set up and bright. It has a dimmable backlight to adjust brightness. Worth paying a bit extra for. Useful it changes the time for the summer and winter automatically too.

Very nice and simple to read and use, for example the time the alarm is set for can be seen at a glance. I thought the temperature display was pointless but found it strangely interesting. Slight downsides are that the display even in "dim" setting is a little too bright when getting to sleep - although not a big issue for me and it can be turned off altogether if you want. Another slight downside for me is that the alarm is a bit quiet for me, compared to my last one - but I am quite deaf in one ear and if I'm lying on my good ear, it's usually my wife shaking me and telling me my alarm is going off that wakes me! But the volume does increase. The description I read says that its battery powered with an option of mains power. This is incorrect and the battery is only to keep the settings in a power cut or being moved.

Great alarm clock, very clear and I particularly like that the alarm time is displayed when it is on (in place of the date). The only negative is that the 12h am/pm clock setting comes with the US date format (24h clock has the UK date format). Silly part of the design, but not a deal-breaker and still the best radio controlled alarm clock I could find. The radio controlled time feature doesn’t work in the bedroom I want to use it, but neither do other such clocks (but will work in the adjacent bedroom). I am in the south of the UK.

The clock has large bright numbers making it easy to read during the day and can also be dimmed during the night but is still readable when I take my glasses off. Being radio controlled it keeps perfect time.

I love this little clock. I was fed up having to alter the clocks back and forth. As mine broke I bought this. It does everything they say it does. Just plug in and go. You don’t have to set anything. It even has a back up battery with large display, and alarm, it was just what i needed. Highly recommend.

Most importantly, this clock is radio controlled, so always accurate. Its design is intelligent, i.e. as simple as possible. A great little clock. Would recommend this seller; clock came on time (no pun intended) and was well packed.
