Easily my favorite light rod for twitching
I bought this due to some reviews on YouTube in particular. They suggested it as a fantastic twitching rod and I have to say that I was so happy with this purchase. It is by far my favorite rod for twitching small K tails, as well as jerk baits when fishing for largemouth. The rod has plenty or backbone & stiffness when you are fighting a fish, but great action on the tip for setting hooks and getting the lure you are using to get the desired action. It is comfortable to hold and use for longer days and pairs really well with a Daiwa Revros 1000. The actual price is just a huge bonus given the the ability of this rod when using lures. The 2 piece design also makes it more functional for transportation when needed. I would recommend the 7' light power rod as the action on it is ideal and not noodle like

E cellent little rod for the money
I have an obscene amount of fishing gear, as I have gotten older, I have culled out a lot of that gear and passed it on to family & some kids near bye that can't afford much. I was left with expensive rods and found myself wanting a few rods I can throw in the truck or car and not be too concerned about..not have to babysit like I do with rod/reel combos that I paid north of $200.00 for. This little rod is just what I wanted. It is super nice for the money, has a nice grip and all the wraps are very nice with only one have a little blew (has zero effect on perfect) the guides are great , and although not Fuji ceramic guides, they are very good for the price.I paired the rod with a ultralight spinning reel I also bought on Amazon. Choose an ultralight spinning reel that has 4.5 to 5 star reviews that has a price you are comfortable with. For about $45.00 you can have a great kitten ultralight spinning setup with line. I have caught many trout on this setup as well as other panfish..big slab Crappie on this rod are a lot of fun.A sweet little rod for a really nice price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Missing piece & broken tip
Awful. The first rod was delivered without the top piece of the pole. I returned the bottom half and ordered the rod again. The second one showed up with one of the rod pieces snapped in half.

Love it, but...
I got the 7' light version. The older models of this line of rods had an additional line guide (7 instead of the current version's 6) and that's a bit of a disappointment - the 7 guides seem to give a more even pressure spread than the 6. This rod, while listed as "light" works for ultra-light applications and has both a parabolic curve to the action and enough stiffness to work for "twitching" applications as well as simple retrieve and float fishing, making it a very good, inexpensive multi-purpose rod.Inexpensive rods usually suffer in the "feel". They frequently lack sensitivity, taking away the fun of the fight. Not so with this one - it's a lot of fun to use.

Lot of fight for and ultralight
So I'm not nice with my equipment. Went out knowing that most of the trout in my area are gone while the salmon migrate but couldn't resist. This rod held up to a few pink salmon, landed 2, and was able to fight a coho for a minute before it spit the hook thankfully. Great little rod, should have gotten it sooner.

Micro Pole More than Worth the Money
Bought this to replace a micro rod that snapped on the shaft. It is very light and easy to use. The single piece design allows me to cast exactly where I want with no issues and feel everything that bumps my lure. The shorter length is great when on a boat or in tight quarters.

5 stars, so far....
I haven’t fished it, yet, but it seems promising. After reading the horror story reviews, I was relieved that it arrived without the tip poking through the box. Upon opening the box, I found the rod securely wrapped in bubble-wrap, with dead air space filled with wadded paper. One reviewer commented on the lack of a lock piece for the reel seat. I figured out where the threads would rest when tightened, and put a couple of turns of Teflon tape around the area. I’m betting it never moves. My impression of components used is favorable...I’m impressed by the price, so I ordered a 7’ light action model. (This one is a 2-piece 5’ rod). I’m looking forward to using them, soon.I have received the 7’ two piece Light rod, and the packaging was solid.

Amazon needs to learn how to ship fishing rods.
This is a great budget rod. It's sensitive, and extremely light. I even pulled in a 4.5 lb bass on it when he ate the bluegill I was reeling in! I wanted a second one and couldn't find it locally, so I have Amazon a shot. That said, this review is more about Amazon's shipping methods that leave a lot to be desired. The rod was loose in a box with a few sheets of paper stuffed in there. By the time I got it, three of the guides were so bent that the epoxy guide wraps had cracked.Just know if you order it here, it's going to be a gamble as to whether it shows up intact. If you can get it locally, I would do that instead.
