I like the quality of the cloth and its beautiful design and loved how it was packaged. It is very complete and a wonderful gift for my grandchild.Only, I think the shoes are a bit small for the size of the child.

This was sooooo cute! It comes with everything shown. True fit to size. My daughter loved it. She felt like she was one with her ethnic background. Not cheaply made or cheap materials. The color looks just like the picture. Very comfortable to wear. And so worth the price.

I bought this for my 7 year old niece while I was in Japan. She absolutely loved it and all of the accessories it came with. Well-packaged ensemble. Great quality items. Silky soft and a beautiful pink color. Would buy again.

My daughter has Japanese ancestry and unfortunately we live in an area that is not very diverse, and her relatives all live on the West Coast who could help her learn more about her heritage. She has been getting more interested in learning about Japanese culture and styles, and so on a whim I got this set for her to dress up with. First of all, the presentation is immaculate. This makes a perfect gift as is, you wouldn’t even need to wrap it. Second, it comes with everything you need for a complete outfit – the kimono, the tabi socks, the shoes, a fan, ribbon flower bows and a belt. The material is slippery (not silk) but has a good drape and vibrant colors. The sizing seemed accurate to me for an 8/9 year old and fit her perfectly. The care and detail that went into this set cannot be beat, I highly recommend.

I was super impressed by the quality of the presentation of this children's kimono. It came in a very giftable box that would be perfect for a future present. The kimono itself is quite lovely and goes nicely with all of the ample accessories. I would be careful with the fan though. It will probably break with too much loving from a fascinated child. Overall, a stunning costume that can be upgraded into an actual gift, which was more than I was expecting!

This Cutey May kimono looks super adorable on my youngest daughter!She is quite taken with traditional Japanese culture; watching anime and dressing kawaii religiously. The Cutey May box attire came in a lovely gift box and included the kimono, a fan, geta (the wooden sandals) and ribbons for her hair. She has not stopped smiling since she opened it and is currently dancing around the house. The quality appears to be high and it seems well worth the price tag (which is $35.99 at the time of this review). I would highly recommend it for any young weebs. It's a shame that 5 stars is all I can give it.
