Such a nice gadget to have specially if you are too busy or too lazy to make yourself. The sizes of the ice are very manageable. Makes the ice rather quickly so you always have stock for yourself, although it’s not something I would use for a group of people since there wouldn’t be enough ice. I would probably recommend making the ice and then when it’s finished, put it in the freezer so that you have a collection of ice in the future. It’s definitely on the cheaper side for ice-makers so it’s quite good and it functions very well

Was a bit unsure about how good this may be but very impressed with it. We don’t leave it out, just use it as and when needed making batches of cubes and bagging them or putting in tubs ready to use. Only takes a few minutes to operate once plugged in, churns out cubes very rapidly! Really good gadget especially when for summer time when we’ll be using it more often.

So far so good easy to use and it works perfectly producing 9 small cubes in exactly 6 mini & 9 large cubes in 8 mins. The difference in cube size is marginal. It's operation is quite and it's a good size for the kitchen counter (not to big). The quality of the ice what you'd expect from a 6 min freeze, it will cool drinks but not last as long as a cube that's been in the freezer for days

I am so happy I got this ice maker! I moved to the UK from California, and not having a plumbed-in fridge with a built in ice-maker is something I've found difficult. I know, I sound spoiled! But for me, I feel like ice should not that big of a luxury. Making drinks with maybe 3 ice cubes, to conserve the number of cubes in the tiny little trays (which crack, leak, and do not give up their ice without smashing them on the counter!) is a disappointment I no longer need to endure. The key point to this machine is: it works. It makes ice, and I'm getting plenty of use out of it. I fill up large zip lock bags with ice cubes to store in my freezer, and then I wipe her down and store her away. I have managed to find space in a cupboard in my tiny kitchen, as obviously storage is an issue. This isn't something I want on my counter permanently. That said, it is rather beautiful. I have to say the matt black finish is sleek. And, I am delighted there is a handle! Great design feature, since it does have some weight to it, and moving it in and out of the cupboard is far easier with handle access. Here's how it works: 1. You have to have it sit upright for 24hours before you use it. I think something to do with the anti-freeze and having it delivered. 2. Then, you clean it - which is super easy. Just wipe it all down and dry. 3. You open the lid and fill water to the fill line (I use filtered water to avoid lime-scale build up) 4. You position the basket inside the machine and close the lid. 5. There is an obvious ON button. And you can choose the size of the ice, Small or Large. It's digital, you press the button and it lights up green. 6. Then, you wait. The machine will make ice. When the basket is full, it automatically stops production. 7. You empty the basket, and the machine will resume making ice with the remaining water. 8. A light will come on when you need to add more water. Because the machine stops making ice when the basket is full, you can't leave this running overnight or unattended if you are intending on making lots of ice. Also, the ice will start to melt while it sits in the basket, albeit slowly. There is no alarm beep to advise that the basket is full, as far as I have experienced. It is kind of noisy, but you know, it's making ice, so that's expected. I don't find it overly loud. I have it on right now and it's not bothersome. It sounds quieter than the standing fan I have blowing. As other reviewers have noted the ice size is rather small. I have only ever put it on the Large setting because I can't imagine the point of having smaller ice than the "large" size it makes. I suppose I should try just to see! I haven't bothered up until now. Overall I am SO happy I have this machine. It is easy to use in every aspect. I consider it an excellent investment, and am thrilled I bought it. I don't even remember what I paid for it, but it's worth it! I can make ice-tea whenever I want, with loads of ice! I can make a proper G&T with half a glass full of ice! YES! Summer is so much more delightful with ice. I'd say that although this is heavy, it is portable in terms of the size. You could pack this in your car if you are going on vacation in the UK. You could loan it to a friend! Highly recommend. PS, you won't usually find me leaving reviews with this much detail. I just put my ice-maker on today and I thought: everyone needs to know about this! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

(Dec 2025)Item was faulty. Powers on but fan and motors do not start up. (Jan 2025)Update: I first purchased one of these in oct 2024, it was dead on arrival. I reordered and returned the faulty one which worked fine. Dec 2025 I ordered one as a gift for Christmas, this one was dead on arrival. I reordered another one which works. Whilst dealing with the faulty (Dec 2025) as of last night my original one (Oct 2024) started making buzzing sounds then suddenly a pop happened sounds like a capacitor pop and it has now stopped working. I have now experienced more faulty products than working ones!

This has been amazing. It produces ice cubes very quickly. Ideal for the summer for cold drinks. I’ve used it to help with my total knee replacement recovery. Very compact to take anywhere and very easy to drain to store. Yes the fan and mechanism makes a noise but only when dispensing the ice. Highly recommend.

I don’t normally post reviews but this product deserves a 5 star review. It’s an exceptional machine which does exactly what it says on the tin! It makes 9 ice cubes every 6 minutes. While I wouldn’t consider the large ice cubes setting a “large cube” nonetheless it still makes a decent size ice cube. It’s neat, quiet, and looks stylish on my counter top. Don’t hesitate to buy this product - just do it!

Jag har använt maskinen i ca 3,5 timmar i sträck och producerat ungefär 1–1,5 kg is i ett svep utan problem. Här är mina observationer: ✅ Kapacitet & Hastighet: Den gör 9 isbitar per cykel. För “stor” is tar en omgång ca 8 minuter, för “liten” ca 6 minuter. I praktiken producerar den 400–450 gram is i timmen beroende på läge. Jag har kört flera batcher i rad, och maskinen håller temp bra även vid längre drift. ✅ Skillnad mellan stor och liten is: Formen är densamma (ihåliga kapslar). Stora bitar väger ca 5–7 gram styck, små ca 4–5 gram. Skillnaden i storlek är inte jättestor visuellt, men stora smälter långsammare. Små är bättre om man vill fylla frysen snabbt eftersom cykeln är kortare. ✅ Ljudnivå: Låter ungefär som ett mindre kylskåp när kompressorn jobbar. Inget som stör i ett kök. ✅ Användning: Mycket enkel – fyll på vatten, välj storlek, tryck start. Maskinen stannar automatiskt när korgen är full eller vattnet tar slut. Jag rekommenderar att tömma isen till frysen efter 2–3 batcher om du vill lagra större mängder. ✅ Kvalitet på isen: Bitarna blir hårda och håller länge i glaset. Första batcherna efter start är tunnare, men efter några omgångar blir de rejält tjocka. ✅ Byggkvalitet: Maskinen känns extremt robust och rejäl. Den slår många billigare, mer plastiga modeller på fingrarna med sin stabila konstruktion och gedigna känsla i detaljerna. Det ger intrycket av att hålla länge även vid frekvent användning. ⸻ Sammanfattning: Maskinen fungerar precis som utlovat. Den är smidig för dig som vill: • Massproducera is till frysen. • Slippa köpa dyra påsar is i affären. • Ha is redo för drinkar, kylväskor eller vardagsbruk. Vor Inbetriebnahme soll man das Gerät gerade/waagerecht aufstellen und 24h ruhen lassen. Ganz klar, das ist die selbe Regel wie bei jedem Gerät mit Kältekompressor auch. Eine Maschine die aus flüssigem Wasser Eiswürfel produziert. Aus einem Tank wird Wasser in ein kleines Becken gepumpt. In das Becken werden 9 kleine Röhrchen getaucht, welche auf unter 0ºC heruntergekühlt werden. Es bildet sich um die Röhrchen Eis ❄️ Nach einer bestimmten Zeit wird das Wasser aus dem kleinen Becken abgekippt und das Eis ❄️, welches sich um die Röhrchen gebildet hat, abgestoßen. Ein Mechanismus befördert die Eiswürfel in einen Auffangkorb. Das Gerät erzeugt dabei, ab und zu ein gluckerndes Geräusch, das kommt immer dann wenn das Wasser aus dem Tank in den kleinen Behälter gepumpt wird oder es abgelassen wird wenn die Eiswürfel fertig sind. Weiterhin summt ein Lüfter permanent und es brummt ein Kompressor (das Kühlaggregat). Ich würde aber nicht sagen, dass das Gerät übertrieben laut ist. Das sind eben für den Preis und die Größe ganz normale Geräusche. Daneben schlafen würde ich allerdings nicht wollen. Steht das Gerät im Nachbarraum nehme ich es nicht mehr störend wahr. Das Gerät besitzt eine Reinigungsfunktion. Diese besteht darin das Wasser aus dem Tank in den Behälter zu pumpen, wieder abzulassen und diesen Vorgang dauerhaft für eine halbe Stunde zu wiederholen. Ich gebe dazu etwas Zitronensäure. Trotzdem sollte man das Gerät auch ab und zu mal auswischen. Aber das beschreibt die Bedienungsanleitung wirklich Recht ordentlich. Nach der Reinigung sollte man das Gerät nicht umkippen um das Wasser abzulassen sondern man soll den Ablauf an der Unterseite verwenden. Kippt man das Gerät um, muss man erneut 24h warten sonst würde der Kompressor möglicherweise Schaden nehmen. Ansonsten ist die Bedienung quasi selbsterklärend. Wasser auffüllen. Einschalten und die Größe der Eiswürfel wählen und dann nur noch warten. Bei mir kamen die ersten Würfel nach bereits 5 Minuten bei 21º Raumtemperatur und ca. 8º kaltem Leitungswasser. Die ersten Würfel waren eher dünn und klein, aber das änderte sich über die nächsten Runden. Insgesamt sind die Eiswürfel (eigentlich sind es ja keine Würfel sondern eher kleine Zipfelmützen oder Hütchen) natürlich kleiner als aus dem Eisfach und man braucht entsprechend etwas mehr im Glas. Aber die Produktion ist kontinuierlich und mit 6 Gästen war ein Abend mit Aperol Spritz angenehm zu gestalten. Alles in allem bekommt man sehr sehr viel für so relavtitwenig Geld. Ein dicker Daumen hoch für diese Maschine! 👍🥂
