Should i size up?

They are true to size. With 5% spandex, these are made with typical panty fabric. They stretch out a little bit around the legs after wearing. You'd be fine with your regular size. I originally purchased the 3x but I'm back to buy the 2x, I didn't need to go up a size. The 3x fits but as I said, with a touch of stretching out, the 2x will be an an even better fit. I have 50" hips and am 5'7", 230# if that helps anyone " on the fence" about sizing.
