As a Flight Attendant, this is the very best travel product I've purchased in 2yrs ! No more bad airplane/hotel coffee; I pack my favorite K-Cup flavors, add the grounds and hot water to this French Press travel mug, and Voila ! The locking lid feature and leak proof design are amazing as well, helping to not spill coffee when we're running between airport gates. This French-Press coffee maker is perfect for travel and at home. All you need is some hot water and medium to coarse ground coffee. I used it for the first time and it was super easy. Just add the coffee (and some sweetener) and add boiling water up to the fill line. Then gently press the plunger down and at the end screw the lid on top. Tip: if you like to add milk, add it before you reach the max water mark and before you press the coffee. The plunger can be completely taken apart by loosening some screws and it is super easy to clean by rinsing it under running water. So this mug can be quickly cleaned before making another coffee. Very easy. Not a deal breaker but some issues to be aware of: While I like the rubber foot to keep it stable, it also makes it topple over more easily, especially if you are used to slide things around on your desk. This rubber foot is really sticky and keeps the mug in place well. Also, while the lid closes nice and tight, when you fling it open it does have some momentum that might topple the mug over especially in combination with the sturdy rubber foot. So some slight balance issues there. But once you got used to it and handle it carefully, it is a great travel mug and can make fresh coffee anywhere without a coffee machine.

My partner is one of those coffee snobs and it's very particular about the way his coffee is brewed and made. This is great to travel with and the price point is fantastic for the convenience. It's durable and cleans easily.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this BENFUCHEN-Travel Coffee Press. 2. The current price of ~$27 is reasonable. LIKES: - I like to soak my coffee overnight for maximum polyphenol content. Not a typical use, but this French press allows me to consume coffee using my normal method on the road. My French press at home is too delicate for traveling, so this works well. - Reasonably durable. - Stainless steel interior. DISLIKES: - None.
