How do u get the q-tips loaded into the dispenser?

The clear part of the dispenser pops off and you put the q-tips in there and snap it back on. The white parts that's slide up and down always stay connected. Good luck! We had one of these when I was a kid and I loved it. I find this one doesn't regularly push the q-tip up as effectively but still works from time to time.

Does anybody else know anywhere i could find this somewhere else?

Doing an internet search I've found it on eBay and Walmart. Amazon looks to be the least expensive.
