My daughter loved doing this project so much and everything was great. It was some cons to some situations. The hanging from the top was a bit difficult we had to hot glue it. Also the rings for the planets were TRASHHHH it wouldn’t fit round the planet. She ended up making rings out of hot glue lol

My only hesitation with giving 5/5 is that the rings for Saturn and Uranus are not large enough to actually go around them and my 3.5yo son did not understand this. He loves space and he loved these when they were done but I had to sacrifice Uranus’ ring to make a ring for Saturn that actually went around it. They turned out great.

This is a great project kit my son got an A on his solar system project it was simple to use and it comes with everything you need it was totally worth the price very affordable

Should have read the reviews on the Saturn ring, they are dead on. Ring is about 2-3 sizes too small. Rest of package is great.

I bought this for my son’s diorama planet project. First problem is the rings are not true to size. Please see attached photo with the measurement. So they do not fit. For example, Saturn. So now I have to come up with Plan B to get this planet to have rings. The paint, are pretty much like watercolor you’ll need five coats, so you’re better off going straight to the acrylic paint. The foam balls, fishing line, hooks, glue dots and the background are super awesome and make the kit worth it. Just beware that your Saturn ring will not fit.

It was perfect for my 4th grader’s school project!

First off this wasn’t very giftable. It comes in a plain cardboard box and the pieces in clear ziplock bags. Nothing is labeled so I couldn’t figure out exactly which planet was which. There are no instructions. Saturns rings also do not fit the planet intended to be Saturn, so we had to use a Pluto to make Saturn look the right way. It does come with extra plutos, so that worked out luckily. Our kit also came with dried out paint. Luckily I had some extra around the house, but that was disappointing. The loops that come with this to make the planets hang need some glue to function properly. Overall I was incredibly disappointed, especially for the price. This was way overpriced for what it is. On the other hand, my planet loving 4 year old had a blast with it anyway.
