I'm prioritizing non toxic products in the kitchen, and I feel great knowing that I'm not cooking with leaching checmicals anymore. These have held up great with regular use - I don't see any splintering. The dark brown color is beautiful and knowing that the utensils are made from single piece wood is great. I am impressed that this company keeps the price low for the full set - many single piece wood utensils sell for this price for a single item (trust me, I looked for a while!). The one note I have is that having a true deep ladle would be nice to add into the set because the spoons are great, but somewhat shallow. I make it work though with the spoons. I've had multiple compliments from friends on this set!

Not long after, my favorite podcast did an episode on Teflon and other forever chemicals, and I decided I wanted to rid my kitchen of these harmful materials. During my research, I learned that high quality food- or medical-grade silicone and hardwood utensils were the best options. But I also learned that many companies glue multiple pieces of wood together to make a single utensil. They are also often finished with lacquer. These materials can then leech into your food. Each of the utensils in this set is carved from a single block of solid acacia wood, and they are finished with natural beeswax, flaxseed oil, lemon oil, and a plant-based coating. I feel reassured that these utensils are not adding toxic glues, coatings, plastics, and forever chemicals to my cooking and baking. Not only that, but the acacia wood looks lovely in my kitchen, and if they ever start looking dry and dull, Ziruma's non-toxic wood wax makes them shiny and beautiful again. I did so much research before I found these. I wanted nontoxic kitchen utensils that I could use with my new GreenPans. I am on a nontoxic kick where I’m going through my household items and upgrading things to get the chemicals out of here. I hadn’t realized that many of the bamboo and other wooden kitchen utensils are actually glued together in thin slices so we can’t really see the glue with the eye but you can see them start to split if you ever accidentally soaked one. So I was so excited when I learned that each of THESE utensils is carved out of an entire individual piece of wood for each utensil. They’re so beautiful in person and they and feel look really well made. According to my research, this is a legit company from Miami that makes quality nontoxic products, unlike so much of the stuff on Amazon that is cheap but full of chemicals. These don’t have a toxic coating on them either like so many other wooden ones do. And it came with some nontoxic bee polish to spruce them up whenever they get a little dry. It also instructs to dry them with a towel right after washing to just reduce the amount of time they’re wet and prolong their quality. They’re really easy to wash, nothing has stuck to them. Even the color of the wood excites me. When I’m cooking I feel like a little nod to my ancestors who used quality products before everything became mass produced and cheap. Speaking of, I found these totally affordable for such a quality product that won’t leak chemicals into my food! That peace of mind goes a long way for me.

Beautiful wood cooking utensils, I haven’t used them yet but they’re in perfect shape, I know I’m going to love them. The wood is flawless, smooth and appears to be very durable. I watched all the videos especially from buyers, they’re the people that know how they perform. I noticed a small package of wax that buyers spoke of wasn’t included, kind of a bummer so 4 stars for now. Let’s see how they stand up over time and perhaps I’ll write another review.

Packaging and leaflet added with much care and love for the product. I highly recommend the product and the company! I also ordered a cutting board.

Cucchiai in legno di diverse forme e per diversi utilizzi. Il costo non è proprio basso, ma sono robusti e di ottima fattura. Nella confezione si trova anche un olio per poter “ nutrire” il legno e renderlo ancora più bello, come nuovo. Li consiglio senz’altro, soprattutto se amate cucinare e cercate cucchiai per diversi utilizzi!

I love this set, it's high quality and the selection of utensils works really well for us. Love that they are not toxic. I have used the Ziruma beeswax polish on them and they come up lovely. I expect these to last a long time and stay in great condition.

Ich liebe dieses Holzkochlöffel Set. Mega Gefühl beim Kochen und endlich weg vom ganzen Plastik. Das Akazienholz fühlt sich hochwertig an, liegt gut in der Hand und sieht sogar richtig schön aus in der Küche. Beim Spülen keine Probleme, alles lässt sich leicht reinigen und nichts verfärbt sich. Für mich 5 Sterne, weil es genau das erfüllt, was ich gesucht habe. Natürlich, robust und ein gutes Gefühl beim Kochen.
