Xtremeauto® Universal Head Rest Car Dog Guard & Matching Boot Liner

The guard leaves quite a gap at the sides and the top on my 02 Skoda estate as the sides are quite vertical and do not anywhere match the sloping angle of my side windows and the headrest clips are too long to securely hold the wire against the back of the headrests, meaning the guard rests on the back of the seats.The boot liner is perfectly wide enough for my car and usefully velcro's to the sides of the boot, but is not long enough for an estate. With the back of it unzipped it just about covers the floor of the boot but nowhere near covers the bumper as indicated.You get what you pay for, so for the price, it's livable with.

When the product claimed that it was compatible with a Ford Focus, I snapped it up. It looked very similar to our old dog guard but, alas, did not fit our car at all. The plastic hooks which are meant to attach to the head rests are too long and therefore don’t tighten, meaning the guard hangs loose and is pretty useless. Placing the hooks at an angle meant that they pulled out of their sliding attachments.As an added warning, the ‘instruction manual’ (a one sided piece of A4 with badly photocopied diagrams) is conspicuous by its lack of instruction. All it actually does is tell you to measure the width of your car and space between head rests, with no real indication of how the various parts of the guard should attach.

It ok but due to the design it does not come full to the edges of my hatch back car (Ford Focus). Leaving a gap either side which the dog can fit it head through. Which could cause injury in an accident.

Bought this as just got a puppy recently whilst ok this represents you only get what you pay forWhen you see a bargain it’s probably not

This is easy to set up. Excellent for messy dog. He's a bad traveller so easy to clean when he's sick. And very sturdy

Excellent quality and cheap compared to others

The dog guard doesn't fit and falls off constantly ..the boot liner doesn't stick at all ....useless waist of money

Velcro to hold up sides of boot liner not sticky and did not work at all. Fit was ok but I now have to work out how to keep sides up. Head rest dog card was a struggle to clip together and while it will do it was rather flimsy.
