Could these be placed in the bottom of my walking boots as I keep getting blister on the bottom of my feet (heal) very painful as you can imagine!!

These are very good at what they do and prevented a lot of rubbing when used on the heel of my old boots , but nothing will prevent blisters completely on a badly fitted boot. I would say that if you used them on the bottom of your boot they would probably only be good for one walk as any significant movement would dislodge them however good they are. Used on a heel they are good for 3 or four walks. Imo a properly fitted pair of boots is the best way to go and since I changed my boots with a proper fitting I have had no problems with blisters. Use these if you are happy with changing them regularly.

How long does each patch last?

So far mine have been in the heels of my boots for months. I find if I use a shoe horn to put my boots on it holds my heels away from the patches so they don't roll down and remain in place.

The description says 2 large ovals and 4 small but the product details says 4 large and 2 small, which way round is it?
