The kefir grains I ordered here on Amazon were of excellent quality and came in excellent packaging, along with all the instructions for people who want to start using kefir grains.

I live in New we haven't gotten over an inch of snow since the 1800's. I put my order in at a time where we had a freak 12" right after this was shipped. I didn't get the product until a week layer since NOLA can't function in snow. No mail. This did finally come and it had a really really sour smell, so I caller the number that was hand written I'm the directions and a man picked up immediately. I told him the situation and he explained exact instructions to wake it up. Very friendly, very informative, and the grains worked!

The grains did not grow at all. I have done this before- about 3 years ago- so I am familiar with the process. I'm disappointed that it has been a few weeks and SEVERAL cycles and each time, it does work, but I almost cannot find the grains when I strain them. Last time I did this, they multiplied regularly and I had to throw out the extra because they were just too many. So, I think maybe these took too long to get to me. I contacted the seller to explain this and asked if they would be willing to send a replacement that didn't take so long. I explained that I definitely never used soap and used a wooden spoon and the strainer they sell and followed the enclosed instructions. I never received a reply.

I am beyond impressed with these Milk Kefir Grains! They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. After just a few days, I had delicious, creamy kefir with a perfect balance of tanginess. What really stood out, though, was the seller’s customer service—absolutely top-notch! They were quick to respond, super helpful, and genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend these kefir grains and this fantastic seller!

This is the first time I have ever left a review, anywhere. I was so excited to get started on my kefir journey and he has helped me SO much! The kefir came with step by step instructions that were very helpful. He also had his phone number in case I had any questions so I could contact him personally, he wanted me to be successful too! I had a question about what to do when leaving town and he actually asked if he could call me, then spent 10 minutes answering any and all questions I had. After a few weeks my kefir wasn’t looking like it was supposed to, I asked more questions, he sent me a video of what it was supposed to be doing/looking like. We determined the grains had died and he send me new ones! Hands down the BEST customer service anywhere! Thank you my new kefir friend.
