Defective design
The scoop doesn’t fit the hood properly and has started lifting away from the hood. I think it will come off completely soon as it really bounces when closing the hood and no, I’m not dropping it hard.

Quality made hood scoop looks great!
When I owned a Jeep Rubicon, I used to buy Rough Country parts for it. They are made very well. I saw this was available and I wanted to enhance the look of my Chevy hood. It is actually fairly simple to install. (follow the instructions) Just make sure your measurements are accurate before you attach it. I had a friend of mine, who works at a body shop, help me install mine. It's been through a ton of car washes and on the highway to North Carolina a couple of times. It's still as stable as it was when we first installed it. Good buy and looks good!
