Great knife for the price,good edge. Impressed for the price. Hard plastic sheath. Good weight and nice blade design. Handle fits hand well with a good grip. We added a string to the back and the front to tie the sheets of the leg.

The knife itself is nice, and it’s comfortable in the hand. The balance is good, the handle is ergonomically sound, and the rubberized grip makes it easy to hold in wet or slippery conditions. The sheath seems a little bit on the cheaper side, but the retention is great. The blade is fairly sharp out of the box, but is not razor sharp by any means.

Yes, it is a Japanese made knife. With this one, however, the quality went into it, and they produced a reputable field knife for the beginner. For average use and may be above, it will hold its own. Even against some high-end knives of similar category. The blade, like most blades from Japan, is extremely dull. But nothing a little time and effort won't fix. The company is noted for middle of the road kitchen knives so, with little to draw on, this is a good blade. The sheath, however, is a little rough? It does protect the knife, but that's about it. It's just a standard sheath that one would expect from cheaper brands. But this too isn't a deal breaker for this knife. With little or nothing to compare it too, I'd have to say alongside similar made or type knives, this is favorable. With a little work, a 'new' sheath, and some modifications, this will serve as a good addition to your outdoor, camping, or survival knife. Beyond that is still up for debate. Good size. Good design. Good function. Less than ideal sheath. Needs some honing. And some TLC to get it to the level of worthy. Almost there, though.

good knife but handle falls apart easily after minor usage both bolts back out multiple times then one of the bolts stripped out the threads

Me gustan mucho este tipo de cuchillos y navajas, la verdad es que me encantan y tengo bastantes, a cada uno le saco un lado bueno distinto. En el caso de este cuchillo casi de supervivencia destaco la calidad del cuchillo, es de buen material, tiene buen filo y bien afilado. Como complementos tiene una pequeña herramienta multi usos en forma de calavera con distintas formas que sirven para atornillar tuercas de diferentes tamaños, también para tornillos, abre botellas y alguna cosa mas. También tiene medio oculta una barrita que sirve tanto para afilar el cuchillo como para hacer fuego con ella. Todo en una funda que casi es lo que menos me ha gustado ya que es de un plástico duro, si hubiese sido de cuero sintético u otro material, hubiera estado mucho mejor y mas bonito. Por todo lo demás es un cuchillo que me gusta y es muy práctico para acampadas, excursiones, pesca, caza, etc...

Buen acero, ergonómico, no pesa en exceso. Tengo curiosidad por ver qué tal coge filo al afiliarlo. De momento su corte es bueno

Das Messer kam in einer einfachen Verpackung und somit ohne unnötiges Plastik 👌🏻 Die Kydex-Scheide hält zuverlässig und macht einen guten Eindruck.👍🏻 Das Messer kommt ab Werk in Rasier-Schärfe, also Vorsicht damit!☝🏻 Da ich gern draußen unterwegs bin, wollte ich ein Hackmesser haben, das nicht zu groß ist. Obwohl ich mit Handgröße 9-9,5 nicht im normalen Griff damit stundenlang schnitzen wollen würde, kann ich es mit 3 Fingern gut greifen und zum Ablängen von Stöckern und Ästen verwenden. Bei meiner Frau liegt es super in der Hand und taugt definitiv - aufgrund der hohen Schärfe - zum Schnitzen. Es wird daher bei unserem nächsten Survival-Kurs garantiert zum Einsatz kommen :) Die Klinge und Griffschalen sind gut verarbeitet und dürften langfristig einiges aushalten. Als Bushcrafter muss ich sagen, dass der Klingenrücken durchaus 90° hätte vertragen können - damit man auch einen Feuerstahl gut anreißen kann - aber das kann man ja easy allein schleifen und nicht jeder braucht das. Ich werde das Messer draußen weiter testen und dann hier aktualisieren und weitere Fotos hochladen. Für Bushcraft vielseitig einsetzbar: - Holz spalten? Easy! - Schnitzen? Absolut! - Feathersticks machen? Kindergarten 😁 - überall sinnvoll zu befestigen dank anpassbarer Tragevorrichtung an der Scheide Wenn man keine größeren Hände hat und keinen Feuerstahl mit dem Klingenrücken anreißen will, kann man es bedenkenlos kaufen und hat für schmales Geld ein hübsches und stabiles Messer :)
