Amazing Sofa for the price… plus it’s a futon bed!
I was blown away by the quality of this sofa for the price. When I purchased mine, there was a promotion so I actually paid less than $200 for this model. It arrived in a single compact box which had me worried at first, but when I unpacked this sofa I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the material. (The engineering behind the packing and couch design deserve recognition, it’s the most efficient thing I’ve seen in a long time) In a nutshell, I am completely satisfied with this futon. The material is soft and durable, the sofa is comfortable to sit on after long periods of time, and it’s designed to turn into a bed! The style and aesthetic perfectly matches our home, and it was incredibly easy to assemble. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble by myself, and it seats 3 people comfortably. I hope this blue color becomes available again soon! I could really use another one.

Stylish - Not The Most Comfortable
I got this couch last month, and to preface my review, I will say that I needed this piece for furnishing my first apartment and I am confined to a VERY tight budget. So I was looking for the cheapest couch possible that still looked nice. Overall I am satisfied with my first ever couch, but excited for the day when I can afford a nice, high quality, real leather, and comfortable couch, and give this one to someone in need. So if you can afford to get a better couch than this one, I would recommend to just bite the bullet and invest in a better couch. You will regret your purchase if you had more money to spend on a couch and got this one instead. I simply couldn't afford a nicer couch. First, I'll start off with the cons: If you are looking for a comfortable couch and that is your #1 priority in buying a couch, this is not the couch for you. Just pay more for comfort. Seriously. It will be worth it for you. If you are looking for a quality couch that will last a long time, this is not the couch for you. For example, the arms are held in place by 3 bolts at the bottom, and so when people lean their bodyweight on the arm (most people I know sit this way), you can tell its not meant to support that type of lounging because it moves and creaks a little lol. My sister slept over on the couch and she said that she would have been more comfortable if I had a sleeping pad, so I'll have to invest in one of those for my guests. Keep in mind, she's a side sleeper and this is a firm couch. Might be better if you sleep on your back, but still, the couch is not as padded as I thought it would be. I was expecting the padding to be firm because that's what I saw from reviews, but it doesn’t seem as substantial as I'd hoped. I thought the foam was going to be more dense? Idk how else to describe it, but that is something that surprised me a little was how "hollow" the seats feel. Like eventually with more wear I'll just fall through. Even with how cheap it is, I wasn't expecting the seats to feel like that. Oh well. To end my review on a positive note... Pros: This couch was easy to assemble, I am pregnant and was able to do it all by myself easily within an hour or 2. The instructions were straightforward and everything was labeled accurately. The couch looks exactly like the photos, it is very aesthetic and chic. The price is great, you really can't complain much with this pricepoint. Biggest reason why I bought it was the look of it and the price point, as well as the fact that is doubles as a sleeper for guests. It is comfortable enough (if you're not going to be lounging for hours), and is on the firm side, which I like firm. This couch suits my needs. Overall, I was pinching pennies when buying this, and I am already looking forward to when I can afford a nicer, more cozy couch. However, it suits my needs for the time being and will get me by. Plus it's just so darn good looking in my living room. I am satisfied with the purchase. :)

Not the best, not the worst, but definitely a good value
I traded out my big comfy couch for this one hoping it would be easier to clean, I ordered the faux leather in camel. It arrived about 3 weeks earlier than expected and was easy to setup by myself. I read in some reviews that it becomes wobbly eventually so I took my time assembling it making sure everything was super tight trying to avoid this. The only thing I noticed were some loose threads sticking out but I reminded myself of how cheap it was and shrugged it off. I absolutely love the look of this sofa! The color is trendy and it doesn’t have that weird splotchy look many faux leather sofas have. It’s plenty long (I believe 81”), medium depth, and kinda short which I don’t mind since it makes the room look a little larger. The legs are cute and I love the supports in the middle with this being a lower end sofa. The comfort of the sofa leaves much to be desired, I can feel the wood inside it when I sit down but again I’m not mad about it for the price I paid. I attempted a nap on it and lasted a few seconds before relocating to my bed. A pro to that is if your dog is like mine they will prefer to sleep on the floor over the sofa lol. If you have cats yes it does show scratches but it seems to be less noticeable to me than fabric sofas which my cats end up shredding. This sofa reminds me of something I might see in a cute hotel. I think if your primary goal is a sofa that looks nice on a budget this is absolutely the way to go. If you prefer something you can melt into I might suggest paying a bit more and going with something nicer. I’ve spent a lot of time on it already and nothing is loose or creaky. I think if you are using it for guests to sleep on it will keep visits short which is a plus for me. Ultimately it’s a great value for the price, looks great, and I would definitely recommend it to others as long as they aren’t looking for caviar on a crawfish budget.

Stylish and convenient but not very comfortable or durable
As far as I am concerned, a couch can be rated on four criteria: style, convenience, comfort, and durability. This couch is very stylish and convenient but falls short on other metrics — I don’t normally write amazon reviews but I want other buyers to know what they’re getting into. Style: 5/5 super cute! Mine is in the navy linen. It works well in the space (yellow and gray accents) and is a good size for a two person apartment. Convenience: 5/5 My roommate and I found the couch very easy to assemble — it likely would have been more difficult (but not impossible) with only one person. The pictures in the directions were a little confusing but once we figured them out it was smooth sailing. Additionally, this couch was very easy to move to a new apartment because it is so lightweight. Also got it on sale (~260) so the price was hard to beat. Comfort: 3/5 The best way to describe it would be that the couch feels hollow. The padding is not very substantial so you can feel the guts of the couch, especially for the back. A couple throw pillows went a long way towards making the arms of the couch more comfy. Generally feels cheap (because it is). I’ve had a couple guests stay on it as a futon and only one has complained — it’s a good size and it gets the job done. But after getting an air mattress people have chosen that instead. Durability: 2/5 I have had this couch for about a year now. In that year, it has not received heavy usage. Even so, the arms of the couch are coming loose from the sides (despite our efforts to tighten them). Additionally, one of the legs is very loose — the screw has destroyed the particleboard/wood where the leg attaches so it can no longer be securely screwed in. If you angle the leg right the couch is relatively stable, but it really is just a matter of time. Considering that it’s only been a year, I am unimpressed. Summary: it’s a super cute, super cheap couch. It’s not super comfortable and it probably won’t last very long. If you’re in a relatively temporary situation and don’t plan on spending most of your time on the couch, this could work for you. If not you should invest in a better couch.

Absolutely Awful
I purchased the fold out/futon version of this sofa in mustard. The color is fantastic and the fabric is nice. That is where the positives end. I thought it would be sturdy, it heavy and the frame seems pretty solid. But about 3 months after putting it together, one of the arms is super loose and I can't get it back to where it should be. I put it down to lounge around on for a few days because it just wasn't easy to get super comfy on in the upright position. Now it will not return back to the seated position. Click click click, fall back down. I looked and one of the slats is broken. I weigh 150 lbs and I live alone. I wasn't jumping around on it or having some awesome crazy sex that broke the furniture. It's just a crappy sofa. When it's down, you have to put loads of additional pillows and whatnot because the frame is so prominent and there isn't a ton of cushion. Or you find a strategic spot to lie on where you can avoid the wood frame. It's just SO UNCOMFORTABLE on so many levels. I've been more comfortable on lawn furniture. Maybe it would be cool in a lobby somewhere, where it just takes up space and doesn't get a lot of use. Because it's cute. But it's not for people who like comfortable furniture that they are going to actually live on. That 4 star rating is a total joke. I honestly wish I had just spent more money the first time, because I feel a little ripped off to be honest. Now I have to buy another sofa. Also- I don't write reviews. Like ever. But I feel like I owe it to society to save everyone from buying this comfort nightmare. When I get something else I'm dragging this thing into the street and lighting it on fire.

Looks great, comfy for a modern sofa
For the price, this sofa is unbeatable. yes, it's faux leather but it looks real (a plus if you own cats and they like to make thousands of little pricks in the sides--at least it's not a super expensive sofa they are doing it too--I put blanket throws on the arms, and my cats are apparently too dumb to figure out there's something underneath, so that problem has been resolved). Anyhow, the sofa is comfy (not VERY, but comfy--just don't expect the comfort of an overstuffed fabric sofa; it is a leather (faux) sofa, after all). The profile is low, so keep that in mind--it's ideal for company, get-togethers, reading, etc.--not snuggling up with your pet or partner. The color is fantastic. The set up was easy (took less than 10 minutes from unboxing to finish).

Nice Futon
I recently purchased two of these futons. I read a lot of the reviews before buying. I was certainly hesitant to buy after reading how these were uncomfortable and too firm etc. Everything about the futon is well thought out. They supply the exact amount of washers, nuts and bolts as well as a blister pack of back ups, which I never had to use. All of the components are well labeled and included an easy to read instruction booklet. The tools, legs and hardware were boxed and tucked neatly amongst the folded futon. The futon arms were in the two zippered compartments beneath the seats. The folded futon and arms were encased in a thin black fabric to protect it. You receive the tools to put it together, though the flat wrench is exhausting to use. Some reviews mention that their futon arms were wobbly or seemed like they would break under pressure. The arms shouldn’t be wobbly if you hand tightened them properly. You have to work your way back and forth tightening the nuts. The first nuts become loose after you tighten the latter. I am leaning my back on the arm of the futon as I write this, I have no fear that it will break! There are four bolts, nuts, washers and lock washers on each arm; it’s not going anywhere. I assembled both futons myself but I would recommend getting an assistant when flipping them right side up, as you don’t want to damage the legs and because the couch wants to fold in half at the hinge when you move it. There are four nice wood legs, the two center legs/supports are a sturdy plastic. The center legs have a horizontal flange with screw holes. The center legs and flange are all one piece of plastic. These legs affix directly over the large hinges between the two bottom cushion sections. This aspect of the design is my least favorite. I don’t care for the center hinge of the futon and how the plastic legs affix to that. Of course the couch wanted to fold along the hinge after the legs were affixed, I worried that the plastic legs would snap but they didn’t. It serves its purpose for having a compact, easy to ship futon though. The fabric is nice and the green seems to have brown under-tones. I believe the fabric is linen-look rather than actual linen. The green is gorgeous. As far as the comfort: there is ample padding on the futon back. The seat has springs and padding. I find the futon comfortable and not overly firm. I have had no trouble sleeping on it at all. The seat height is perfect for me (5’5”), I don’t feel like it’s too low. The seat depth is perfect for me as well. There is no movement nor creaking whatsoever when I jiggle the futon, the futon is solidly built. Overall I feel like I made a good purchase on this retro design (under $300 with tax) and I’m glad I took the chance on it. It doesn’t look nor feel cheap. I think it is a fair price for what you get. Both futons were free from rips, breaks and stains or funny odors. One futon shipping box was a bit crushed on both ends, like it had been dropped, I didn’t see any visible damage when I opened it though. There is no packing material so any impact from dropping it goes straight to the futon.

Stylish yet stiff
I frequently have friends and family over to hang out and stay the night if needed, and my two-person loveseat + air mattress weren't cutting it anymore. After reading reviews for this couch/futon both here and on Wayfair, I was a bit nervous, but I decided to give it a try and I'm pretty happy I did! The biggest challenge was putting it together, but the Amazon delivery person was very nice and wheeled the box directly into my living room. Getting the parts out of the box was a struggle, but once out, I was able to put it together in about an hour by myself. The other reviews are true...this futon IS very firm/stiff. It reminds me of the furniture you'd find in college dorm common areas or office lobbies. I don't mind that too much though and I felt fairly comfy laying on it to watch TV. The material isn't soft either (honestly it's kind of scratchy), but I've made the couch feel more soft and cozy with fuzzy pillows and blankets. Structure and material aside, the style and color are beautiful! My friends and family think it looks cute and I feel like the color has really brightened up my living room. The pink is a soft millennial pink/Glossier pink, very subtle. The size is also great - it can definitely fit three people (and pets!) if you're having a movie night or small gathering. When extended into a futon, it can easily fit one person (e.g. I'm 5'4 and can lay all the way down on here with room to spare). However, I definitely plan on putting down a mattress pad when guests stay the night for added comfort given how stiff the cushions are. My last note isn't so much a gripe about the couch itself, but a warning to others - my dog jumped up on the couch with dirty paws, and it was very hard to get the stains out! It might have been the stain removers I used + the fact that the color couch I got is so light, but stain removers left a ring on the couch that I was only able to get out with repeated blotting, wiping, and drying. tl;dr it's a lovely, stylish purchase, but keep in mind the stiff cushions and lower-quality material. Can easily fit a guest crashing overnight. Probably best as a couch in a home office/spare bedroom, but can be used as a main couch if you don't mind a firmer seat.

Super!!
The sofa looks very aesthetic and the color is not too bright. It was delivered within 12hrs and it was easy to assemble and quite compact. Just be aware that there will be some noise when converting it from sofa to bed and vice versa. Also the seating cushioning is not dense. But its not a deal breaker.
