Great camera, easy to install. Solar panel is discreet and also easy to install with the long wire it comes with. Picture quality is great. Never runs out of power as long as you set the detection right. Light comes on at night if person is detected too. Software seems really reliable. Highly recommend.

Price at review: £74.99 On the face of it this is a really good camera, it has good quality images, the night vision and range is great. It has a cute little face and it pans and tilts inquisitively and has a wide range of movement. It is absolutely packed full of features and especially useful is the human detection which is so much better than pure motion detection because it only kicks off when someone is actually near your property. It also has a cool follow mode where it turns to follow whoever is in the frame to let them fully know they are being recorded. Optionally it also can turn on its glowing headlight eyes and make an alarm sound if you want. The solar is awesome and the cable is long enough that I could mount the camera on one side of the house and the panel on the south facing wall. So far the battery is staying up in the 90% range. So why am I not giving this 5 stars? The first thing I don't like is that it sends everything over the internet via the manufacturers servers and it doesn't use encryption while it is doing this either. Even when you are on the same WiFi network as your camera it sends everything out of your broadband router to the server and then back again so you can see it. Most of the advanced features require a subscription. I would prefer to be able to use it without logging in or having to have a subscription and just use it on my WiFi directly. If the manufacturer goes out of business it will likely become completely useless overnight. The second problem is that even with the motion detection turned off and the human detection turned on, it still reacts to movement and pans and tilts to look at it. This means when it is, for example, raining or leaves are moving in the wind then it is constantly moving trying to see something. I would prefer to be able to have it locked in one position until it sees a human and only then follow them with the panning. This also would save a lot of wasted battery. Plus while mine is looking at the trees waving in the wind it could miss the person down below... I have another camera from another manufacturer which works exactly like this and that makes so much more sense to me.

It's a very effective camera with several good features. However the solar panel to charge it is next to useless and the battery is depleted far too often. I've had to get the ladder out to use a power block to charge it on many occasions. It's on a south facing wall. I don't recommend it on this basis.

Imou 2K Solar Security Camera (B0D3DHJQ3V) Great camera, works well, easy to set up. This is a great system, so easy to install and set up. After positioning the camera and solar panel, I loaded the Imou Life app on my Samsung S24 smartphone and created a free account. This then allowed me to add the device and log it onto my local network. All worked very smoothly without any problems. From the app I was able to immediately see the video output and choose quality settings, etc. I am happy with the picture quality and the movement detection, I got a few notifications to my mobile as I was moving around testing so I'm happy that it is detecting ok. Some birds have been flying by and not set off the detection so that part is working fine too. I've only just started using this camera but already I am impressed and all this with a free account. If I want the extras the paid account brings, I can investigate later. I have a 64GB microSD card installed and set up for time lapse at sunrise so I am looking forward to seeing that. The app shows a good device power level at present and I'll be checking that each day to see if the solar panel will be sufficient on its own over autumn and winter. I am very happy with this solar security camera so far.

Sono già alla sesta telecamera Imou, sinonimo di qualità ed efficienza in questo campo... Sentivo la necessità di raggiungere punti della casa all'esterno dove era difficile portare l'alimentazione ad una IpCam senza creare pericoli per possibili dispersioni elettriche nei giorni di pioggia e questo modello ha centrato in pieno questa mia esigenza. La Cell PT 2C 3MP senza fili è dotata di una generosa batteria da 5000mah che garantisce una buona autonomia anche in assenza di ricarica. La principale fonte di energia è fornita da un pannello solare compatto, ben realizzato, robusto e a prova di intemperie. Il cavetto usb-c che lo collega alla telecamera è abbastanza lungo per poter sistemare il pannello dove viene raggiunto per più ore al giorno dai raggi solari. In ogni caso, nella confezione è presente anche un cavetto, sempre usb-c, in modo da poter ricaricare facilmente la telecamera attraverso un powerbank o un alimentatore usb da 5v (ovviamente non forniti) nella remota eventualità che il pannello solare non sia sufficientemente in grado di ricaricarlo (nelle brevi giornate invernali e nuvolose? ...Scrivendo la recensione in estate col sole a picco non posso attualmente giudicare l'efficienza in questi casi in tutta onestà, vedremo). Dopo le premesse di presentazione dell'articolo passo al giudizio sull'installazione, la configurazione, collegamento alla rete wifi e funzionamento. L'installazione non richiede grandi manualità ed è accuratamente descritta nei manuali allegati alla confezione, la placchetta di sostegno si fissa con le viti fornite e la telecamera può essere facilmente agganciata/sganciata dal supporto, lo stesso dicasi per il fissaggio del pannello solare (si avvita sul supporto). Avendo già altre ipcam IMOU la configurazione è stata quanto di più semplice e rapida immaginassi, l'app ImouLife permette di riconoscere il modello tramite scansione del codice a barre ed aggiungerlo prontamente e senza complicazioni alla rete wifi esistente. In un batter d'occhio la telecamera è subito operativa; a me è bastato cambiare la password di default e rinominare il modello secondo le mie esigenze così da distinguerla dalle altre già in mio possesso. La qualità delle immagini è indiscutibile, nella tradizione IMOU, sorprendono soprattutto quelle notturne per definizione e luminosità senza necessità di ricorrere all'IR. Dotata di audio bidirezionale, può fungere anche da videocitofono con cui si può interagire tramite app ovunque ci si trovi, utilissimo in molti casi e questo senza stendere cavi ed acquistare apparecchiature tradizionali molto più costose. Completo la recensione ricordando che è presente uno slot per inserire la memoria microSD, fulcro di tutto il sistema di videosorveglianza, così da poter registrare audio e video per più giorni, altrimenti si può sempre sottoscrivere un abbonamento per conservare e consultare i dati sul cloud IMOU. Non posso che confermare la mia soddisfazione per i prodotti di questa innovativa azienda, consigliatissima!

Una experiencia muy buena con esta marca , compré 5 cámaras y quedé muy contento con el funcionamiento y facilidad de instalación, app intuitiva y agradable al uso , si es verdad que tiene funciones de pago aunque yo no las uso ni es imprescindible hacerlo , la calidad de imagen y funcionamiento general es de 10 ! . He vuelto a comprar 6 cámaras más de esta marca tanto de exterior como solar y interior y seguramente repetiré , a veces vale la pena pagar un poco más y tener un producto de calidad como este .

Superbe produit fonctionne très très bien facile à installer

Fonctionne très bien. Dommage qu'il n'y pas (comme toutes les caméras sur le marché) possibilité de les ajouter directement à une application générale vu qu'on est obligé de chargé leur application. Sinon fonctionne très. Juste un petit bémol, c'est que lorsqu'elle bugge, il faut tout enlever et refaire l'installation car pas moyen d'arrêter les alarmes. Mais cela n'est arrivé qu'une seule fois jusque maintenant.

Il giorno prima di installare questa videocamera ne ho messa un'altra di marca diversa (con cui mi trovo benissimo da anni) con alimentazione normale. Causa corrugato nel muro messo malissimo ho perso due ore per riuscire a installarla. Questa videocamera l'ho messa in una ventina di minuti (ho voluto perdere tempo per adattare una cassetta di derivazione come si vede in foto). Già solo questo mi fa pentire di non aver scoperto prima questa videocamera. L'installazione è davvero super veloce e basta avere l'accortezza di mettere il pannello solare al sole (ed ovviamente di controllare che venga sempre rispettata la privacy dei vicini. Le videocamere di tipo dome se si hanno i vicini sbagliati possono essere fonte di innumerevoli problemi). Son settimane che la sto usando ed incredibilmente la batteria è sempre carica (temevo fosse troppo piccola per il tipo di cam). Possiedo da tanti anni parecchie videocamere sia imou sia ezviv sia qualche Blink (avevo anche altre marche meno note che ho provveduto a togliere). Per me, dopo tanti anni che uso videocamere sia da interno che esterno, imou ed ezviv son le marche top. Tuttavia i prodotti imou hanno un posizionamento di prezzo incredibilmente aggressivo che permette di comprare a prezzi molto bassi delle videocamere a dir poco ottime (mi domando come facciano a venderle a così poco anche perché uso cam di questa marca da tanti anni e non hanno mai dato problemi). Possiedo già da parecchi mesi altre cam imou solari ma questo modello in particolare è di un livello superiore. Ha una visione notturna eccellente e soprattutto le ottiche permettono di vedere in modo estremamente nitido fino a una distanza di 20 metri (altri modelli solari si fermano a 10). Personalmente son rimasto stupito di quanto sia nitida la visione a distanza con questa videocamera: si riescono anche a superare i 20 metri (perdendo solo un po' di nitidezza). Per chi ha un po' di esperienza di cam saprà che con i modelli con alimentazione tradizionale si riesce a vedere tranquillamente oltre i 30 metri ma per una videocamera solare avere simili prestazioni è davvero sconvolgente. Praticamente è come avere una videocamera con alimentazione tradizionale ma senza dover fare lunghe e a volte complicate installazioni. Ovviamente è sempre bene ricordare che si tratta di una videocamera solare e non nasce né può essere usata (soprattutto nelle ore notturne) nella modalità registrazione continua (opzione che è presente nell'ottimo software di gestione). Ho provato anche ad usare questa modalità ma nel giro di qualche ora la videocamera esaurisce la batteria. Tuttavia risulta abbastanza inutile la sorveglianza h24 ed anche usandola con la modalità ad alte prestazioni (ed impostandola in modo che registri anche piccoli movimenti) messa in un giardino con decine di registrazioni al giorno (per provarla son arrivato ad oltre quaranta in meno di 24 ore) la batteria della videocamera non mi ha mai abbandonato (batteria mai scesa sotto il 75% nonostante ci siano stati parecchi giorni con pochissime ore di sole e pioggia continua). Purtroppo non mi servono altre videocamere e quest'anno ho provveduto a cambiare quasi tutte quelle che avevo ma sto seriamente pensando di toglierne qualcuna con alimentazione tradizionale (ne ho un paio molto vecchie ancora in HD) e installarne altre di questo modello. Si risparmia tempo e denaro (forse non sembra ma, soprattutto in case grandi, alimentare tante videocamere incide sulla bolletta della luce) senza rinunciare alla qualità ed affidabilità. Tra l'altro questa videocamera ha anche un'ottima ricezione wifi per cui son riuscito a metterla in un angolo del giardino senza problemi. Straconsigliata.
