I’ve only used this sprayer once, but it performed like a champ—no drama, no leaks, no mysterious malfunctions that make you question your life choices. The “funnel” on top is a genuinely smart touch: pouring is easy, and it helps keep spills to a minimum. It’s also lightweight and easy to carry around, and the wand/hose is long enough that you don’t have to fold yourself in half to spray near the ground. Now, to be fair, I’m only 5'2", so the ground and I are basically neighbors—but still, the length makes it comfortable and convenient. All in all, it’s simple to use, works well, and the price feels right. I’d absolutely recommend buying it. I’ll update this review if needed, after I’ve used it a bit more—assuming I ever get the chance. If it doesn’t start raining consistently, there may be nothing to report. No rain means no grass growing where it’s not wanted… but it also means no vegetables or berries. I’ll take the rain.

Wow! I have always purchased the cheap $19 ones at Lowes or Home Depot and always get frustrated with them. That's why I'm writing about this one. Getting older is weird because of what excites you nowadays lol. But this sprayer made my day! Feels like a commercial sprayer and so much easier to use. It seals great if you take the time to read instructions. One note on connecting the wand to handle. It says fully insert which I thought I did but it didn't look right so I reread the instructions. It said to fully insert and use a twisting motion as you push. That did the trick!! If I had not of taken the time to reread I probably would be complaining about the company right now. This item is a great value and will last a long time. You can tell it is based in the USA as well by the photos and instructions. Take your time assembling and look at each part carefully and check fittings before you ever add anything to it. Fill it with plain water and get to know it before you start using it. A+++ will definitely purchase again for different types of spraying!

I purchased this sprayer along with the mulch glue and dye. The pump sprayer and wand are way nicer than I imagined. I particularly liked that it came with a shoulder strap, making it much easier to carry around at its full 2-gallon capacity. For the advertised price of this sprayer, it's well worth the money... especially considering you can purchase a 1-gallon sprayer from any big box store for the same (if not more) cost. I used it twice over the summer. Upon using it this year, I noticed it was leaking from the shutoff valve. It took me a few weeks to build up the fortitude to contact PetraTools about getting the new part. I realized they had a chat pop-up on their website, and I was immediately matched with Anne. Upon explaining that my relatively new sprayer was leaking and providing her with my proof of purchase, she informed me that my new spray wand was being shipped out the same day and would arrive in a couple of days. It is extremely rare to find a company nowadays that prioritizes customer satisfaction over all else.

My property is 1 acre and can already tell this unit will come in handy for 2 reasons. #1 The spray function can adjust from a good spray down to a fine mist. In this mode it will be very handy for the poison ivy that pops up every year somewhere on my property. #2 MORE IMPRESSIVE ....the distance it shoots when adjusted to ''Stream''. I put in 2 gallons of water, pumped it 24 times (the relief valve opened for 1 second so I knew it was at maximum pressure) then held the wand at a 45 degree angle at it shot the stream 28 feet! I was able to hit the top of the roof of my 1 story house with out a ladder. As I've got moss starting to grow up there I'm going to mix up some liquid moss killer tomorrow. The quality of construction seems high, had zero leaks, and just lightly pulling up on the relief valve releases the pressure in seconds. Although the QR code wouldn't work for me, registering couldn't be easier. Call the support line on the box . Tell your name and your Amazon order number, takes her like 5 seconds to confirm and you're covered for 3 years. Took less than 2 minutes .

My old battery sprayer was not working as it should and I needed to get a replacement ASAP for my plants. I took the plunge for this 2 Gal. sprayer which had many positive reviews and was offered at a reasonable price. As soon as I received it and assembled it, I noticed that the sprayer was missing a very useful feature from my battery one (a locking mechanism to enable nonstop spraying from the wand). Before getting further frustrated with this issue, I figured that there might be a solution. As I was looking around, I remembered having some 5 inch spring clamps laying around. Much to my surprise I clamped it to the sprayer's handle and Voilà it fits like a glove (I have attached pictures to show which type of spring clamp I used). This workaround made me so happy since I knew that if I manually held the handle in the wand with my index finger for prolonged periods, my finger would get tired or worse case, hurt like when you're using a hose sprayer without a built-in lock during summertime. The other possible solution to resolve this very issue would be to replace the included wand altogether for a different one. That would have made the investment in this sprayer negligible as it would make it that much more expensive and not a great bargain. Besides this little nitpick, the sprayer works as it should. The tip is very versatile as it can be adjusted from nice soft mist to a long distance straight stream. It's manually pumped and can reach its limit after 8 to 9.5 pumps. It's a bit tricky at first when screwing/unscrewing the pump piece from the unit as you need to concentrate on the inner ring piece to do so. If you go after the outer ring, you end up disassembling the whole piece apart which is really irritating. There are very detailed instructions in the container which is definite plus. The container itself along with the pump seem to be made of strong, durable plastic materials. The wand seems to have an average built since it's all plastic and there's no metal parts like my battery sprayer. The container for the spray clearly indicates the volume measurement mark (Liter/gallons) in plain, bold letters. When you remove the pump, you can easily pour your fluid into the hole without the need of a funnel. The sprayer seals the fluid inside the container in its entirety so there's no worry about leakage. The other great part is that it's a manual sprayer so you don't have to worry about attaching or charging a battery. You also get additional parts if you need to replace them in the near future from wear and tear. After a couple of tries, you get used to the functionability sprayer. I just hope that in the future, the wand comes at least with a locking mechanism for nonstop spraying. If that was the case, this sprayer would get a 5/5. As it stands, I give it a 4.5/5 with my workaround. Without this workaround, I would give it a 4/5. Even with this flaw, I still recommend this sprayer. It works, it's very well made for the price and best of all, provides great coverage.
