This Fabu Shrooms joint, bone and muscle supplement is just what I need. I’m noticing more and more people around me having hip and knee replacements so I’m keen to avoid that myself and this seems to be the way forward. I like the mix of different ingredients in these capsules, many plant-based, and the brand appears to be reputable, run by a qualified Irish pharmacist with a passion. It’s vegan, if that’s of interest to you. The capsules are just over 2 cm long and easy to swallow. They are in a plastic bottle with a good seal, although it was difficult to get the seal off. The best before date is June 2026, two years ahead, which is great. The product contains an interesting variety of ingredients known to be good for joints, including glucosamine and MSM. I’ve seen larger amounts of these ingredients in other supplements but who knows what the optimal dose is? I’m glad that the turmeric is not accompanied by piperene, which seems like an aggressive way of forcing it on the body. The combination of the plant ingredients with the more common joint ingredients makes for a very nice all-round package. At the recommended dose of two capsules daily, this bottle of 60 will last one month. I take these supplements with the aim of maintaining good health rather than looking for a cure so I do not expect to notice any obvious effects. If I do, I will update this review.

Well this so far has a good impression on me. Testing this via the Vine programme so this was a free sample but I evaluate products taking their relative value for money into account, compared to similar products. I've taken a lot of mushroom and especially Reishi supplements over the years. I can't give any medical advice you have to consult a doctor / healthcare professional before taking anything. I've noticed a good effect on me. These you get 60 capsules (all intact, none broken - which is important because this is not cheap, it works out to almost 50p per capsule at the time of writing this review). They are easy to take and not overly odourful. There are a lot of nutritions great for skin in this like vitamin C, D3, K and manganese. In addition you get the mushroom extract and boswellia and turmeric - no scientific established recommended daily value (%NRV) for those as they're not proven to do anything. If you're looking for a Reishi supplement (and can afford it) this is a good one - I'd say its in the upper end of the price spectrum compared to somewhat similar products and I don't see a good reason for that so docking a star for value. However to their credit, you get 60 capsules and that means 60 days worth - other brands tend to do a bait and switch and you need two capsules per day to get their stated dosage.

In addition to the mushrooms, glucosamine, MSM, and turmeric, there are also several vitamins and minerals that all have known benefits for joint and muscle health. Looking through the ingredients, though, some of the dosages are quite low, and there are also some bulking and anti-caking agents in the supplement. This may be a turn-off for some people. Price-wise, it's not a cheap supplement, but nor is it hugely expensive. This bottle contains 60 capsules, which at two a day means it's a one-month supply. Overall, it's definitely an interesting blend of ingredients and should have benefits in the area that it claims to help. So, should you get the results that you want, then I suppose it is money well spent.

Given that this is sold as a mushroom supplement, I was quite disappointed to see that the actual amount of reishi mushroom present is very low. Online advice suggests anywhere from 1400 - 1500mg as an appropriate amount, but these capsules only contain 100mg each (suggested dose is 2 capsules daily). Glucosamine suggested dosage is 1500mg per day, whilst these capsules have 500mg in the suggested daily dose. It's the same story for the turmeric, insufficient as a useful dose. Can't really comment on how effective these have been for me as a month isn't a long enough time to see any positive effects, but given the low dosages I'm not hopeful.

I’ve been taking this supplement for a couple of weeks, but some of these ingredients I've taken for years to help with my joints. The blend of Reishi mushroom, glucosamine, MSM, and turmeric feels well-targeted for joint and muscle support, and it’s reassuring to see key vitamins like D, C, and K included for bone health. It’s still early to assess long-term effects, but I’ve noticed some improvement in joint stiffness and overall mobility. The combination of natural ingredients with science-backed nutrients gives me confidence in its quality so I will keep trying this.
