Wall plugs supplied if needed for use in walls. Screws a little too long for use on fence and heads quite soft but did the job.

Worked really well for hanging my solar garden string lights on my fence, wish I had discovered these before and I would have saved a lot of time and hassle messing about with cable ties and staples previously. Used my own screws as those supplied too long for thickness of my fence, I assume the supplied screws and wall plugs would be OK for harder thicker surfaces.
