The best value of the 34” 21:9 OLED Panels
The media could not be loaded. This monitor shares the same Samsung panel of the OLED G8, Alienware 34, MSi MEG34, but has additional I/O, including the USB-C/DP-Alt option with 90W of power delivery for productivity users. It has plenty of I/O, KVM switch, and it’s almost as elegant as the aluminum Samsung G8.If you juggle computers for work and play, want a gaming monitor that is elegant and not gharish like the Alienware and MSi, but has more functionality than the mini I/O setup of the otherwise great Samsung G8 OLED, this is a great panel for you.It has the best price ($100-$500 less than its competition), a warranty of 4 years, and still a blast to game on and pleasant to work on.My only nitpicks are :1. Blue flecks in the oversized stand making the product look a bit cheaper. This is due to Philips joining the ranks of companies that put recycled scraps of plastic in things as if it’s desirable.2. Samsung has showed us we can have Ultrawide without wide monitor stands. It would’ve been nice if Philips took a page out of the MSi, Samsung playbook and followed suit. Nearly a foot deep is far too large of a footprint for any monitor stand.3. It also seems to be ever so slightly crooked, but that may be the way it sits on my desk (the legs are so long that it rests on my desk mat). Or it could be because rather than a traditional VESA mounting plate on the stand, it has a quick release tab that means there’s some play in it. I have since replaced it with an AVLT monitor arm combined with the included VESA adapter.4. No burn in warranty (Alienware offers it, but just don’t leave your monitor on without a screensaver, lower the brightness on desktop use, and follow the pixel care prompts)5. If you’re a console gamer, you’ll be limited to 100 hz. 175 hz, FreeSync Pro is only supported over DP, USB-C.To recap, of the 21:9 1440p QD OLEDs, this will provide you the same or more I/O features of all its brethren, and at a lower price. $776-$799 tends to be the window for this unit, and for that you’re getting:1. 1440p Ultrawide format2. DP, HDMI, USB-C/DP-Alt w/ 90W PD3. Several USB-A ports, USB-B port4. 175hz refresh paired with a 0.1ms response time.5. G-SYNC, FreeSync compatible6. Nearly perfect motion clarity, vibrant colors, deep blacksAt a lower price than all its competitors and more features than the Alienware DW, DWF (the darlings of this segment thanks to content creators like LTT). As far as I’m concerned, that makes this the best of the lot.

Vivid colors and great blacks.
The review title is the reason I wanted an oled. Playing some games that are very dark makes an oled basically necessary in my opinion. Been playing stalker 2 lately and the dark areas were awesome but I felt the monitor I had was lacking so I wanted to go oled.My last main monitor was an aw3418dw and I loved it but I just needed to scratch that curiosity with the oleds colors and blacks. I'm so happy I took a risk with this monitor. The hdr is also fantastic on it. It's a bit bright but you can adjust those things.Build quality is also great. It appears maybe they cheaper out a bit with the plastic stand but that's not an issue for me as I prefer to mount my monitors with Vesa. The stand is still very sturdy and is very intuitive and easy to use.Options and settings menu is okay but it has everything I need to use. Adjusting the refresh rate is simple and the menu button behind the monitor is sufficient for functionality. The ambiglow is meh but that's okay it's just a little bonus. I want to warn you if you've never had a ultra wide that some older games do not support 21:9 aspect but I've not found a game that does not at least have a mod to fix this. Do the tiniest amount of research and you'll find that the black bars thing is kind of moot because there are super easy ways to negate that. Even for videos on your browser there's a extension to remedy. Most modern games do support 21:9 out of the box.Overall I'm impressed with the monitor. I have 65 hours of use and I'm still in awe of the colors. Happy with my purchase and the sale price can't be beat. Honestly monitors shouldn't be much more expensive than this and philips proves that it can be done without much sacrifice.

OLED is absolutely beautiful.
I'm coming from a IPS 1440p 144hz panel. Not much of an upgrade spec wise but. The OLED makes the difference. Wow what a difference. Colors are amazing, the black levels and HDR make a world of difference. I was very concerned about receiving a damaged product from Amazon shipping, the box was very damaged from Amazon storage, the workers put the monitor box in an average brown shipping box with zero damage so I know that the workers picked this damaged product box and sent it in hopes of not being returned.probably why it's on sale. Very poor practice on Amazon's part. Philips have the monitor nicely packed and fortunately the screen was intact with zero damage and everything is performing excellent. The screen was dirty and needed to be cleaned.Good and bad things. There is no smart tv sign in or dashboard, it is just a monitor which I love! I cannot stand the so called "features" of a Samsung TV/monitor with a dashboard filled to the brim with advertising. It's not shoving "gaming" features or designs down your throat which is a plus in my book. The screen has thicker bezels than I like and a silver frame which stands out in the dark. The monitor sits nice and high and is easily rotated and raised or lowered. This thing is made from recycled plastics, it doesn't look pretty and the feet stick out pretty far. The part that attached the monitor to the stand looks and feels like poor quality, it works for now but if that tab snaps you will be needing a Vesa mount cause there ain't no fixing that. There is an included mounting bracket which is nice. The cable management bracket on the back is a joke, this thing will easily snap with trying to manage some thick 16k DP or HDMI cables. Speaking of cables, God they're an ugly grey/tan color that reminds me of those old floppy disc computers from school. God they're ugly cables. Speakers, I only used them for about 10 mins so I can't speak too much on them other than they work.Overall I got this monitor for 700 after tax and with installments so I'm happy with it. I've had for 2 weeks and I really enjoy the monitor. QD OLED looks great and runs smooth, also ultrawide is incredible, I love it.
