Very effective OTC remedy for stubborn ringworm
Getting straight to the point: If you have a stubborn ringworm irritation that doesn't want to go away with other OTCs, buy this! I am dealing with stubborn ringworm and cannot make it to a doctor until my health insurance kicks in, so I've been relying on OTCs for relief. Nothing so far (Clotrimazole based) has worked and only increased irritation. The next day after using Lotrimin Ultra, I saw immediate results. On Day 4 my skin is now smooth and the ringworm is broke up, redness has dramatically decreased. There isn't a smell to it and I would compare it to prescription strength. When opening this tube, try to make a toothpick sized hole in the foil instead of breaking the full seal. If not, you may use way too much of this product when using for the first time. Very worth the money, I'm extremely happy. Edit: After three weeks there is no trace left of the ringworm. Seems more effective if used before bedtime and you let it dry.

I was using the regular lotrimin over the counter recommended by my Doctor for the ringworm on my head. I have been using it for 2 weeks now not much different. Day before yesterday I ordered the lotrimin extra base on the review. For the time the a reviews are telling the truth. Yesterday was the first I used on my hair, I tell you no lie today I feel the difference with the fungal in my scalp. It's more tighten, meaning it's healing faster. Thank you everyone.

Works as intended, shorter timespan than clotrimazole.
Works as intended, however the container in which the product is in means that you end up wasting a good amount of product until there is enough space in the container to prevent it from automatically spewing out waaaaay more than is needed per use. Bayer needs to put this product in a regular tube just like the clotrimazole is in. For twice the cost, it seems like I wasted 5 times the amount compared to the clotrimazole.

This works amazingly fast. I saw results in 3 days. I tried the regular Lotrimin but didn't see much except for relieving the itch so tried the Lotrimin Ultra and as stated this really works when used as directed.
