I like to ride this more than my mountain bike!
This is my first exercise bike. I didn't want to shell out a whole lot of money. I mainly use it for when it's raining outside and I can't go biking or during the winter which is what I really got it for I bought the silver model. Almost every picture I saw was the black and I noticed that the handlebars are more tilted at least on this model, but I actually prefer it that way compared to the flat ones I've seen so I don't know if it's just a newer design or if they're designed differently between the two colors it's same bike though so I don't know why it'd be different I ended up having an extra screw for the handlebars as well or maybe it just didn't have a drill hole for it, but it works perfectly fine did a quick 30 minute exercise on it and had nothing wrong with it for $250 you can't beat a price like that it's actually built pretty well for the price as well. I would recommend getting either a new seat or a comfy seat cover and that's what I did for mine It's super easy to adjust once you find your size it takes a minute to get used to the dial system. I don't plan on using the app or getting a membership for another app I mean if you have YouTube on like a TV or obviously on a phone there's plenty of fitness guides that are free or just watch TV. Everything shows up on the dial anyways except for resistance which is a little disappointing but at the same time like it'd be nice to be able to track it but it's not necessary the only thing I've noticed obviously after using it I had to re-tighten down the bolts but you get what you pay for and it takes 2 seconds to tighten bolts and I'm sure on other bikes you'd have to do the same thing after using them it is quiet as can be obviously if you are a little overweight like I am, you're going to breathe heavy and and your breath is way louder than the bike. I don't even think the bike makes noise. I would say if you're trying to get into fitness this is a great bike for the price. At some point I might honestly upgrade but I literally use it for rainy days when I can't go out biking and for this upcoming winter I just don't know how long the belt will last or how well it will keep up over time but if you're trying to get into fitness this is a great starter bike and maybe upgrade over time. What I would recommend is definitely getting a new bike seat or a bike seat cushion cover (to be honest all bike seats are uncomfortable just try to find one that works for you a cushion cover will do just fine for most) and buy rechargeable batteries I really like the fact that you don't have to plug this in. It's super easy to move around once you get it set up. It's a little heavy when it's in the box definitely recommend if you're taking up flights of stairs or down to have somebody else to help you. The only thing I don't know is how long this bike will last over time but since I'm using it seasonally I should get a decent value out of it compared to people who will use it daily and that's the one concern that I have is how long will this bike last before it has problems but if it lasts 3 years that it's worth the value that's less than $100 a year I actually personally like riding this bike more than I like riding my mountain bike. It's a lot of fun.

Decent bike for the price
I’ve had the bike for a week or so. Bike is decent for the price. It’s super quiet that I can ride it at any time of day. I like that the package comes with tools that you need to assemble the bike. Assembling was quite simple. And the bike was well packaged.Reasons why I gave it 3 stars:The bikes does has a few issues. When biking, the part that holds the handles, cup holder, etc. and below kind of shakes even when tightened. It’s not a huge con but it is something I did notice.Another thing I have noticed is that I scoot the seat all the way forward since I am short. By the end of the cycle, I notice that the seat gets pushed back. I have tighten the knob quite tight so there should be no reason why it moves but may need to contact customer service about this issue. Also, the seat is slightly uncomfortable but customer service was nice to send out a new seat that should fix the solution but will not have this till the end of August because of out of stock.Lastly, the app. The app is not really user intuitive. Quite hard to use honestly. I probably won’t bother to use it. But the Bluetooth is a nice feature. I just wish that the app could be better so I can incorporate them into my cycle sessions. Although, it is nice to see that they have some classes you can do but I’d prob just stick with searching some on YouTube or something due to the user experience.UPDATE: 07/25/2025I change my rating to 5/5 because of the customer service and solving all my issues with the bike. I contacted customer support about a few issues and Jessie responded to me with great service! We discussed over the very very slight wobble in the handlebars but after riding for a while.. I don’t even notice it anymore and by tightening the lever even tighter, it made it more sturdier. For the bike seat, they were willing to send me a brand new bike seat that should fix the issue along with a grip tape to avoid the seats position to stay in place free of charge (which I am truly grateful for). I hope this changes the comfortability when riding. Also, I shared my concerns about the app as it felt confusing for the users. They took that into consideration to improve their app with the development team and gave me alternatives to ride. And for being so kind, they also gave me a partial refund on the bike which I did not expect at all. This company truly cares about their product and wants to make it better unlike many other companies. I will definitely recommend Merach bike to anyone who is in search for it. I’ve been enjoying it so far and I can’t wait to make it even better with the new parts they are sending over.

Good and budget-friendly
Easy to put together and highly adjustable. Only drawback for me personally is the seat; it's quite uncomfortable for longer rides. However, the positives of the bike outweigh the negatives. It is very quiet, and has various levels of resistance. When assembled correctly, it is plenty stable, and is lightweight enough to move the bike around without massive effort—I keep it tucked out of the way until I am ready to use it.

Issues right out of the box, being resolved by Merach
This was delivered March 26. FedEx did the delivery and it was terrible. The box was had five or six punch holes and I’m not just talking small hoes. I mean these are rips. One of them had to be directly onto the monitor, which didn’t appear to be damaged, however. Putting the bike together was relatively easy easier than unpacking the product. The monitor will not work by that I mean.Display screen is unresponsive to touchNo settings menu or gear icon visibleCannot access Wi-Fi or streaming app setup (this is what Amazon Rufus ai stated). This was incorrect information by Amazon. This was passed on to Merach.now I’ve contacted Merach Customer Support and Customer Service through email with pictures and a very concise description on what the issues are that was sent out now I have not heard back from them as of yet, it’s been one day and it was sent out on a weekend. They did contact me saying that their full team would be back on Monday. However, this needs to get resolved because one of the reasons I bought this thing was to replace a defective Lifecycle. I’m sad to say, but also because I could connect my iPhone to the monitor. So I can watch cycling races as I ride. Now I’m expecting a delivery today of an adapter for HDMI with USB C connection. This didn’t work.I think the best thing to do is just to swap out the monitor for a new one. It connects when the power is on the screen comes up, but it’s not responsive to the touch and there’s no gear icon. (incorrect information from Amazon). In regards to the toe clips that came with the bike, I used those toe clips about 30 years ago never did like them. I’m pulling those things off because I ordered some speedplay pedals to replace that so I can wear some cycling shoes to get those off of this bike. I’m not having a very good experience with this bike and it’s starting to get really frustrating, due to incorrect information from Amazon. All of this has been passed on to Merach.UPDATE: Merach has been in contact with me explaining issues and how to solve. Also they did reseacrh on why Peacock cannot connect to the monitor. There is a copyright issue, i can screen mirror other apps but not Peacock due to this issue. Merach has been very helpful they are even offering discounts on shipping package damage and issues with the monitor. So they are coming through with customer service.UPDATE: the Customer Service rep that I’m working with has been phenomenal. They helped to resolve all of the issues I had with the monitor and explained to me that the monitor was OK however with copyright issues with Peacock, I cannot mirror those races which is too bad. But that’s not the fault of the manufacturer. Now they have given me a discount, not only on the shipping package being damaged, (FedEx) but also on what they called the inconvenience to me, dealing with all these things. I also explained to them that I didn’t like the toe clips because they just are something that I use 30 years ago never did like them and I’m buying a new set of speed plays to match the new shoes that I bought, new cycling shoes. Anyway Merach came back with an email and said to me hey let us know the cost of the new pedals and will reimburse you for those. I mean, I was floored with that offer. The generosity of these guys is just above and beyond anything that I’ve ever experienced before in regards to Customer Services. So with that being said, I would definitely highly recommend purchasing products from these guys because their Customer Service is top-notch. The bike works well it’s very smooth and very quiet now that all of the components to it have been explained and understood by me the buyer. I can’t say enough about the quality of their customer service. It really has been phenomenal and again, I highly recommend buying products from these guys.

I Love It!
It was time. It was just time.I'm over 50 now and made it out alive thru my 2-year stint with menopause. Tiredness, unpatterned sleep cycles, weight gain, and overall mental fog has released its hold on my life and I finally have the energy to do something about it. Just three 15-20 minute workouts in and I'm already bouncing off the walls with energy. My sleep patterns are nearly back to normal. I don't feel like snacking, I just feel like doing stuff now. I'm actually *excited* for my next workout. Thank you, Merach & Amazon for making this happen!I am new to indoor cycling, but I absolutely LOVE THIS BIKE! The ride is so smooth, so QUIET and so easy to enjoy. I love the app too! I'm thrilled that I can sync up the bike with my phone and log in all my ride stats so easily! It definitely motivates me for my next ride. The routines are good too. I enjoy the guided rides, but because I'm a beginner, (and because I like my own music) I do like to just set the duration and ride while I build up my strength. Did you see that Merach even gives you a 180-day free membership to all the bells and whistles that the app offers? I'll be redeeming that once I get thru my introductory/beginner phase in a couple weeks. While I appreciate the pristine condition that the bike arrived in, getting this thing out of the box was the most difficult part! My bad - I shooed away my husband before getting it out of the box because I wanted to see if I could get it together by myself! Anyway, I finally had to just destroy the box to get it out. But I'm not complaining! Like I said, the bike came in perfect condition, nary a scratch on her. After about an hour of assembly, (the tools are included) I followed the directions that were straight forward in the manual and was on the bike amazed at how smooth the ride was. The bike is STRONG! There is no wobbling, no handlebar movement, no seat movement when all the locks are tightened down. I DID read the comments before buying and was forewarned about the seat discomfort, so I bought a gel seat cover and have had no problems. I had zero trouble adjusting the seat and handlebars to my height and I'm very comfortable riding it.All in all, I would have bought this bike even without the enticing deal I got thru Amazon Prime, which was like $100 bucks off the retail price, but the deal definitely pushed me past indecisiveness. I put the work in researching exercise bikes in this price range for beginners and this was the #1 pick of the bunch. And I learned something too! You don't need a heavy flywheel to do the kind of home workouts I'm looking to do. Those 30lb+ flywheels are for advanced riders and for those who are doing endurance training for competitions. And for an old girl like me, the Merach S26's 13lb. flywheel is probably better on my joints overall. Point being, at 50+ years old I don't see myself outgrowing this bike on my quest for better health. I HIGHLY recommend this bike to anyone ready to take control of their health and start a new exercise regime. This bike is THE BEST!

Great for the price
This is a great cardio bike for the price. It’s really quiet, which is important to me since I live in an apartment building. The adjustability is also better than I was expecting. You can move the seat up and down as well as forward and back. The handles can also move up and down if you need.Overall quality is good, including the seat which I was worried about after reading some other reviews. The seat is actually really comfortable compared to other bikes I’ve used. Putting the bike together was also pretty easy, and took me maybe 30 minutes. The only downsides that I can think of would be that the seat is slightly wobbly, but not enough to really notice when exercising. Also the screen interface is kind of strange to interact with, but I probably just need more time using it.

Very pleased with this. No regrets at all.
I was a little nervous about buying this online but after I put it together I'm impressed. First of all if you're good with tools and you've done this stuff before it only takes about 30 minutes. It is solid and well built. I've done over a hundred thousand miles on top end road bikes and the bottom bracket, the part where the pedal arms attached is very smooth with no slop. Same for the pedals. It is very quiet. I haven't connected it to any other device but the display keeps you updated on your progress. The instruction manual could be improved, English is not the first language of whoever wrote it, but I don't ride that and also the online video could be better. All tools including a wire to pull the wire for the display through the tube are provided. The only thing I wish was different is the seat as others have mentioned. I've only ridden it once for 40 minutes but my butt is sore. I'm 5'8 and 170 lb just for reference. I can probably live with this seat but I just wish it was better. I'm 84 years old and my cardiologist wants me to do this 45 minutes a day everyday. It does provide a very good workout. Maybe I should mention that my hip pain from trochanteric bursitis was totally absent.Amending my review. This seat is unusable which is a shame because the machine is great. I also wish the handlebars were upright since wind resistance is not a factor and bending over is hard.Further Amendment. First of all their customer service is First Rate, you actually get a human who returns your emails. They sent me a new and better saddle which is an improvement I haven't gotten an opportunity to fully test it but things are getting better. I will reiterate that the machine itself is excellent and extremely quiet. Somebody sitting in a chair next to you would not know you were actually moving it.

Excellent, affordable exercise bike
This bike is quiet (making it easy to watch TV or listen to music) and is very easy to use. It doesn’t take up much space so I could have it in the bedroom to do prehab and rehab following hip replacement surgery. It was reasonably easy to assemble assuming one can use simple tools. One potential shortcoming if you are tall: I am 6’1” and about as tall as can be accommodated on the bike assuming that you want to extend your legs maximally.
