These are excellent mallets for the Glockenspiel to practice at home and not kill your ears! They sound great and are a good size. They also feel good in your hands and a great value for the cost. Recommend.

I was surprised at how good these feel, will probably be buying from these guys again when I have to replace it. The price is good for made in USA also.

These are well made positively great design attractive as well they're just right for my hand drum and I encourage anyone with wounded hands or fingers to buy these and go ahead and learn the hand drum- it's quite rewarding. Good on you folks who made these.

I’ve been really pleased with the Timber Drum Co. Percussion Brass Mallets overall. The build quality is excellent—solid brass heads, smooth finish, and a comfortable grip that feels well balanced in the hand. They produce a clear, bright tone that works great for a variety of percussion applications, especially when you need articulation and presence without sounding harsh. They feel durable and well made, and after regular use they’ve held up nicely with no signs of loosening or wear. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is that they’re a bit heavier than I expected, which may take some adjustment depending on your playing style or longer sessions. That said, these are high-quality mallets at a fair price, and I’d definitely recommend them to percussionists looking for reliable brass mallets with strong projection and control.

I bought these to use with an 11-note tongue drum. They are a somewhat soft rubber, which is recommended to that type of drum. The handles are on the long side-about 14" I think. That takes some getting used to, but I don't consider it a problem. They produce a clean, bright sound on my drum, which of course motivates me to practice more. I have attached a little video, so you can hear the sound. (Just please disregard my finite skill; I am a beginner.)
