This product is excellent, especially the double bottle idea as we had a blockage in both the kitchen sink and the upstairs bathroom sink. Used product on kitchen sink first as were slightly anxious about pipework in bathroom, blockage cleared overnight, hooray, at last! Confident enough now to do the bathroom, same timetable and just brilliant cleared overnight so at last we can use this sink again now, no damage to pipework whatsoever, infact it made the chrome sink hole and surrounding gleam like never before, cannot recommend enough. Didn't notice any smell, no foaming either, though had all the precautions in place anyways !

Received my product as promised and the drain unblocker worked a treat but depending on how bad the blockage is after the product is poured down the drain , I found that the longer you leave the product to do its work the better it is at clearing the blockage .

I recently used this drain cleaner and was impressed with how quickly it worked. Within the recommended wait time, the water started draining much more smoothly, and it cleared a stubborn blockage that other methods hadn’t fixed. The instructions were straightforward, and I appreciated that I didn’t need to use a large amount of product to see results. That said, the smell is a little strong in a smaller room, so good ventilation is an idea while using it. Overall, it’s an effective and reliable solution for tough clogs, and I’d definitely keep it on hand for future issues.

Bought this hoping it would sort out a stubborn clog in my bathroom sink, the gel itself is definitely thick, as advertised. However, my blockage was so bad that when I poured the gel in, it just sat there, backed up in the sink pipe. It couldn't even sink down to the clog properly at first. I had to leave it overnight, hoping it would slowly work its way down and dissolve the blockage. After using the first bottle and leaving it overnight for at-least 14 hours, the drain was still blocked. I tried again with the second bottle, leaving it for another extended period. Unfortunately, even after using both bottles, my sink is still draining extremely slowly, I guess it's slightly better than before? So, while the gel is thick and the price was low, it was completely ineffective against a serious bathroom clog like mine. It might be okay for minor, slow drains, but for anything tougher, it felt like literally pouring money down the drain. It does have a slight chemical smell, not totally odourless, but not too harsh. Giving it 3 stars mainly because the price was cheap and maybe it helps some minor issues, but for my needs, it failed. I'll be looking at a different brand next.
