Broken after two months
Great for a couple of months. Now it repeatedly turns itself on at random times so never has any battery! Obviously a faulty product, I will be requesting a free replacement.

Fun and possibly effective
When I first saw hydrogenated water bottles up for review on Vine I laughed and said "I've got to try that", thinking it was another of the latest health fads. Well blow me down, a search for peer reviewed scientific studies on the respected US Government National Institutes of Health website shows that while a firm verdict isn't in yet, hydrogenated water is causing enough interest and excitement to prompt further study. Amongst other things it seems to reduce inflammation, reduce the side effects of some cancer therapies, assist the liver in excreting toxins, support dialysis, reduce cholesterol, assist in post-exercise recovery... the list goes on. I admit to being intrigued. Intrigued enough now to have this on my kitchen counter. The principle behind this bottle is simple: water is molecules made up of two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen (H2O); pass a mild electric current through it and you split some of those molecules back into separate hydrogen and oxygen. This bottle contains a USB rechargeable battery and two electrodes; press the button and it starts a timed electrical discharge which (according to the sales page) will enhance your water with up to 2,500 PPB (parts per billion) of hydrogen. You can see the bubbles being released as it operates, although much of this will be oxygen, not hydrogen, and it's impossible to know how much hydrogen remains suspended in the water and how much simply escapes when you open up the bottle. Competitors on the market - you can easily pay over £150 for a bottle - make much of producing a higher PPB score, but since (a) there are no medically proven "best" measurements, and (b) I can think of no physical reason why pressing the button for a second cycle wouldn't increase the concentration, I think this high capacity bottle is good value at around £45, although I do prefer my smaller borosilicate glass unit over this larger plastic one. Still 5 stars from me, though. Even if it only produces a placebo effect this is a hip gizmo par excellence. As to whether it works, health wise - I have no idea. But it can't do any harm.
