“Tineco Carpet Cleaner – Powerful, Lightweight & Easy to Use!”
The Tineco carpet cleaner exceeded my expectations! The suction power is amazing and leaves carpets looking fresh and like new, even in high-traffic areas. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and much quieter compared to other brands. I really like the different cleaning modes and how simple it is to empty and clean the tank. Overall , an excellent choice for anyone who wants professional-level results at home. Highly recommended!

Worth the money
I have been a Bissell fan for years. My last Bissell finally died (after tons of uses) I decided to buy one again. Although the suction was actually very good, it continually stopped working. Then, when I was doing the stairs, the part stopped spraying solution! All this happened the first time I was using it. Honestly, when I was putting the product together, every part was so cheap! That was it! I returned it, continued to research it, and found this carpet cleaner. And, yes, worth the price. It cleaned so incredibly well, it drying feature did a great job, and the hand-held attachment for stairs and upholstery worked incredibly well. The product is well made. It is heavier, but it has power assist so it is not hard to maneuver the machine. I am hoping this product continues to serve me well, and we are off to a good start.

The best machine
I tried it as soon as it arrived, and I couldn’t be happier. The machine is a bit heavy, but in auto mode it almost moves by itself, so it doesn’t take much effort to use. I especially love the dry mode—no more waiting 3–5 hours for the carpet to dry. I used to stress about how to clean the carpet, but now I’m completely satisfied. In the past, when I hired professional cleaners, there was always a strong odor until the carpet dried, which I couldn’t stand. Because of that, I avoided cleaning the carpet for two years. Now that I’ve finally done it, the place looks and feels spotless. After using it for the second time, I highly recommend it. I love that I can clean my carpets more frequently. It's taken the stress out of cleaning carpets.

Awesome
I bought this because I have a potty training toddler at home. It IS a lot more money than others on the market, but the ease of using it makes the extra cost worth it to me. I’ve used this to clean up spilled acrylic paint of my rug and it got everything out. It even picked up a months old spaghetti sauce stain I couldn’t get out. I LOVE the self propelled feature it makes it very easy to use and maneuver. It is heavy, but light enough that I can still lift it myself. I am not sure how it compares to weight of other carpet cleaners. Overall, this works amazingly well and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that the water tank is a bit small. I have to change it while cleaning just my living room rug. I haven’t tried it on my carpet yet but I’d imagine I’ll be changing the water multiple times per room.

It's good, but not great. Needs some more work.
Beege's great review covered most of what I was going to say, but I'll go a little further: this machine has a serious engineering flaw in that it forces you to be emptying the dirty water tank every few minutes - even though the tank is nowhere near full. Since the water is black and disgusting, and can easily clog your drain up, I really hated having to do that so often. Why have such a huge dirty water tank, when the machine won't allow it to get even 1/5 of the way full before forcing you to empty it?It also does that with the self-cleaning function. A self-cleaning function should always work and not be something that gives you stress. Most of the time, it stopped around 30 seconds into it and forced me to "please empty the dirty water tank", even though I *started* with an empty tank! So I'd go empty it, again, put it back on, and self-cleaning would resume... for another few seconds before stopping again. Only rarely did the cycle complete without stopping numerous times for emptying. Also it does that on drying mode too. If I'm just drying, why is the tank demanding to be emptied every few minutes - when there's barely anything in it? It's a serious flaw. Also the hand held tool leaves much to be desired. With hard scrubbing, it tends to fall apart, and is frustrating to have to put back together. Also the trigger sprayer most of the time either put out no water, or a worthless dribble. Apparently your clean water tank has to be at least 90% full, or else the sprayer on the tool doesn't have enough pressure to get a good stream out. That said, it's not a huge problem, and the tool does a decent job as long as you accept that there's problems with it. It was very good at running across some dirty walls that had dust bunnies and old webs; it took them right off. But overall, I didn't like having to remember to not scrub too hard with the tool, lest the brush fall off, and I disliked having to use it without water a lot of the time. Those were the insufferable things that made me send it back and get the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam instead. But I will say, there are good things about it, as Beege mentioned. No trigger to press all the time; automatic water dispersion. And the drying mode is awesome and really works, even if a little time-consuming. The self-cleaning and drying of the brush is a great feature - when it works. The talking voice, well, it was cool at first but I quickly turned it off as it feels more like nagging than being helpful. "Please empty the dirty water tank" is not a phase I ever want to hear again in my life, after using this machine.

Self Cleaning mode was a nightmare!!
Brand new and the self cleaning mode shot dirty water all over the floor that I just cleaned. Tried a second time and same thing. I contacted Tineco directly and they said to return through Amazon would be quicker. Still waiting for my return to be approved days later.
