So far it looks like this product is effective in combatting foot fungus but expect it will take the whole package to work properly.

This product has transformed my husbands thumb nails. He had been to hospital as the GP's were stumped with his badly flaking nails. They were tested for various things but with no diagnosis. Even had a painful biopsy to remove the nail from the root bed to test further. 15 consultants later none the wiser. Hubby saw this on the net and decided to give it a try as he'd tried everything else and .....it worked!!!! We were in shock. He had been using it for about 5 months before noticing a difference and then within a year his nails were back to being smooth and nail like!! After using it for a couple of years, he decided that he was 'fixed' and stopped using it. Within 3 months he started to notice ridges forming again so hence why another bottle has now been purchased and the nails are becoming smooth again. May not work for everyone, but for the price it's worth a go. You only need a little bit on the nail and it lasts for ages and ages, but you must use it every morning and every night for it to be a success! Good luck

For some reason they have changed the bottle top. Previously had a simple dropper top which worked well - I wonder why they felt it needed changing? Now they have top which you twist to open and close. The problem is that after a couple of weeks the liquid dries inside the spout and blocks the hole. After struggling with pins to try and clear the blockage, I swapped it with the dropper top from an empty Clearzal bottle and all is now well. So the 4 stars are for the product, which I find very effective, but I've docked a star for the very poor design of the 'improved' new top.

I used it on an infected nail. I had been having acrylic nails put on every two weeks for six months and my nails did not breathe at all. One of them became infected and the nail turned green although I didn't have any pain. I bought this, used it and the colour did not change at all, the nail just grew out and I haven't had acrylic nails on since. I now plan to move on to Gelac. It might work for some, just didn't work for me.

I USED THIS NAIL TREATMENT ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND IT CLEARED MY VIRUS. I PURCHASED ANOTHER BOTTLE FOR A FRIEND AS I KNOW IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT.

This product really works

In an earlier review, I wrote that I thought my big toe nail had considerably improved after following the instructions for seven weeks. I have now been using ClearZal for another 10 weeks or so and am sorry to say that the improvement has not been maintained and in fact the nail seems to be getting worse again. At the moment I am feeling very disappointed. Addendum 23 December 2011 After using ClearZal for more than five months my toe nail looks much the same as when I started, so I have been to the Doctor and he has prescribed Amorolfine, which turns out to be the generic name for Curanail. I note on the packaging that it is for "mild" nail infections, which mine is, so let's hope it works. As I am a pensioner I did not have to pay a prescription charge. Addendum 17 May 2014 Well,the Amorolfine (aka Curanail)didn't work either. Nor did Supernail Fungi-Cide. I have now been trying pure tea tree oil although it came with a warning that it should be diluted in a carrier oil when applied to the skin. I have been using it undiluted for three or four days and have so far had no sensitivity reactions and I think the toenail is looking a lot better - but I thought that with the Clearzal at first so we shall have to wait to see whether the improvement is real or imaginary. Update 11 April 2015 Well, I have now used pure tea tree oil twice a day for 12 months and the mild toenail infection (affecting about a quarter of my big toe) has almost gone. For about ten months it seemed to stay about the same, but within the past two months there has been a big improvement. As mentioned previously, the tea tree oil (3 or 4 bottles from The Aromatherapy Shop on Amazon) came with dire warnings that it should not be used undiluted - but I took no notice of this and have had no sensitivity reactions. Others,perhaps, should proceed with caution.

Visits to specialists and use of prescribed lacquers had little to no effect. Clear-zal - bought by chance initially starts to show a positive effect in days. You need to apply it mornings and evenings, but it really is worth the effort. It's worth having one handy and applying it at the first sign of any infection to make sure it can't develop further. The glass nail file included is also of high quality. I highly recommend this product!

It seems to be working but like many on here said. It is a slow working product. I have been currently putting it on for 5 wks and it is getting there.

The product arrived well within the allotted time. I can't say how effective it is because it will take months to see any improvement, but my physician recommended it.

Have had fungus since 1967 and so far nothing seems to help. Am trying something else now which may be helping,
