The desktop and the desk base components arrived extremely well packaged with no shipping damage whatsoever. For those who are reading the reviews complaining of stripped screws... The problem is not with the screws at all. The problem is that the assembly of this desk actually should not be done using a power drill. That is what is stripping the screws. I assembled this desk using only the tools provided. I did not use a power drill at any time. I'm 74 years old, I am female, I am also disabled with hands and strength that have diminished. And I was able to assemble the entire desk, including the cable management apparatus and the two hooks provided. A 74-year-old knows how to use a thin nail and lightweight hammer to create a bit of a starter hole for a screw and the absence of a pre-drilled hole. Avoiding using a power drill will ensure that the assembler will have no problems with stripping screws. The assembly instructions are very well written, they are logical. If you proceed slowly and carefully you will end up with a desk that is solidly put together and raises and lowers smoothly without any problem whatsoever.

I shopped for months and i'm so glad I took my time and landed with this desk. It's beautiful, solid, quiet and the desk is one piece. I love the height adjustable features and memory. The cord tray is a game changer. It had a clean look. It's very stable even adjusting the height. My cup doesn't move at all. You won't be disappointed.
