Aptly named FURY!
It's a radical amount of fun. Mostly parking lots, mowed yards, and compacted dirt track = Fury. Mostly rough fields, big jumps, and loose dirt = Gorgon. Destroy everything = Vorteks 4x4 This generation of Fury and Gorgon are the definitive beginner hobby grade RC Trucks. I really appreciate the easy to work on bulletproof layout of the chassis. A bottom battery tray is quicker and more intuitive for beginners. Bash, blast, swap, repeat. Speed is not the focus here, but bump up to a 2S lipo and it's pretty quick for a parking lot or trail. The truck is stable, jumps decently, and has wonderful rear wheel driving and handling characteristics. What it lacks in off-road capabilities it makes up for in effortless style. "Dude, that's siiick." ~ every random adult that walks by. "Mooom/Daaad, I want one!" ~ every random kid that walks by. Upgrades: •5200mah 2S Ovionic lipo •Drill small holes in body to reduce parachuting. •Fan with guard and funnel booster. •Reinforce underside of body with gorilla tape or cement backer tape and shoegoo.

Great beginner truck with easy maintenance
I love this truck! Easy to work on and tune. I upgraded mine to brushless as soon as the stock motor got cooked. Stock motor does not handle lipo well and will get cooked after a few runs. For beginners use the stock nimh batteries to prolong stock motor life. Also avoid sandy areas with a brushed motor. Handles great! I own 2 now

Get it
I bought this on that amazing sale for $120. Added a hobbywing motor and esc. Love this car. I own several expensive rigs and I enjoy this truck as a quick grab 'n go. Strong as a tank. Reliable Gorgon platform.

Well worth the money
This car is a blast on 2S and 3S, it’s a lot of fun. The plug end (IC3) ticked me off though. I had to modify an XT60 to make an adapter for my batteries. I only have driven it with Lipos.

Poor quality. wrong information given at time of purchase
This car has been nothing but a nightmare and a waste of time and money. In the add amazon directed me to buy the wrong battery and the wrong charger. Because it was a Christmas present , by the time I discovered that it didn't work the return window had almost expired. Initially, the battery was compatible with the car. The charger recommended was not compatible with the battery recommended . I had to go a local vendor to find the right charger. Once connected to a charge battery the car keeps stopping with 92% charge left in the battery. I have been calling the people at the local store for help, because getting help from you is imposible. In summary, my son has played at the most 30 minutes in three separate sessions in two months because the car doesn't work. So almost $300 spent pus time spent trying to get technical support, I still don't have a working toy and past the time of return. Don't buy this junk. No support when is needed, wrong information and poor quality.

No regrets
This rc car is really fun! I have only taken it out twice and already love it. If you are debating to buy it don’t think and do it. Only sad part is the zee battery’s don’t fit. Buy the lipo smart battery instead. Over all best car I have ever had!

Almost indestructible fun — especially after a brushless conversion
The ARRMA Fury MEGA is honestly one of the most fun RC trucks I’ve driven, especially for the price. In stock form it is already a great beginner-friendly basher, but what really impressed me is how tough the platform is. I’ve driven it hard in a skate park with jumps, bad landings, crashes, and rough impacts, and the truck itself feels almost indestructible. The chassis, suspension, arms, and overall structure can take a serious beating. The only part that really suffers is the body, which is expected with this kind of use. A simple Shoe Goo and drywall tape reinforcement, or even duct tape as a quick fix, makes a big difference and keeps the body alive much longer. The best part is how much potential this truck has. I converted mine toward a 223S-style setup using electronics from a Big Rock 223S, and the result is unreal fun. With brushless power it becomes a completely different animal — fast, playful, easy to slide, easy to jump, and ridiculously entertaining. It is fun for kids because it is simple, tough, and easy to drive, but it is also genuinely fun for adults because the truck can handle abuse and still put a smile on your face. It has that perfect backyard/skate park basher feel where you can just keep driving without constantly worrying about breaking something. Overall, I’m extremely impressed. The Fury MEGA is tough, simple, upgradeable, and a fantastic platform if you want something durable for kids and adults. Reinforce the body, drive it hard, and enjoy it.

Stiftung Gonzo Test
Wirklich geil
