Watcher heated fast! Can’t wait to use this again. Maybe somebody reading this review can invent someway to put it on wheels! There is no plug so we had to carry it from one destination to another, but that is not this item issue. Every water heater I’m sure has the same problem if there’s not an outlet that where you are needing to place it.

We purchased this for the temperature gauge feature. We like to serve apple cider on Halloween to trick or treaters, and this was going to be our second beverage dispenser. It’s important to keep the cider at a safe temperature for the kids, so the temp control was essential for our use. Unfortunately, The temperature setting dial doesn’t work properly. We set it to 140 degrees to gently warm the apple cider. Instead, it overheated and maxed out the temperature - boiled over and was scolding hot- well over the max 220 degree. It was a huge dangerous mess! And way too hot to serve the cider at all. We had to unplug it and let the cider cool for hours before we could use it at all (which was way after our “event” time, so we just cooled it yi empty it out). It was completely ineffective and a dangerous product. Sadly, I do not recommend. Attached picture was after it cooled for hours unplugged and finally reached 140 degrees. It got so ghost the temp gauge couldn’t read the temp anymore.

It does what it’s supposed to do and the thermometer on the front is accurate and helpful. It keeps liquid liquids, hot and dispenses them in a sanitary inconvenient way.

I was hunting and scouring through Amazon for weeks to find the right hot pot with the functionality of making hot cocoa for 140 people. This pot exceeded that requirement, the capacity was perfect! Super easy to use, lightweight but durable. We had a plate just in case there was some leakage but it wasn’t necessary. Comes with a brush, frothing cup and other tools as well. Very easy to clean, definitely worth purchasing.

The size of this thing is great, however there are a bunch of deal breakers after 8 months of use. 1. The spout leaks after a few months. The manufacturer sent a replacement that also started leaking. 2. The thermostat failed after a few months. 3. Most importantly: the plastic ring around the lid on the inside of the urn started leaving a dark black residue when you wipe it and disintegrating into the water (see photo). This seems unsafe and against the whole point of having a stainless urn.

This is a great beverage dispenser that not only heats but also keeps the temperature I want. It perfectly solves the problem of different temperatures required for different beverages. I love it!
