I recently purchased the SwitchBot Weather Station with the bundled Outdoor Sensor, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. The setup was simple, and the functionality is top-notch. The indoor and outdoor sensors provide real-time temperature and humidity readings, which are incredibly accurate and helpful for keeping an eye on the environment both inside and outside. It gives me a quick glance at what to expect for the day.The ability to store and export data is a great bonus, especially for tracking trends over time. It makesit super convenient to configure and monitor everything through the app. Overall, this device is a must-have for anyone who values precise environment and weather monitoring. The SwitchBot Weather Station with Outdoor Sensor consists of 3 items. The latest hub mini, the large screen Meter Pro and an external sensor. I've been using SwitchBot products for several years and this kit is a useful addition. It’s all pretty straightforward to set up.Latest Hub MiniThe latest hub is similar to the previous version with the addition of being matter enabled. Note that this version doesn’t have a screen. I believe you need an Apple Home Hub to make the most of this extra matter functionality which I don’t own.Meter ProThis has a large screen version of the previous model with the additional capabilities of showing the current time and date and the temperature and humidity of itself and also an additional device e.g. an external sensor. This is certainly an improvement over the older model. I would have preferred it if the current time and date were larger though.Outdoor SensorI have 2 of them, one of which I have been using outside to monitor the outside temperature and humidity. It corresponds accurately to the weather forecast except when the meter has the Sun on it which is to be expected.The other one I'm using to monitor the temperature of an underfloor heating pipe which works as expected.I like the fact that it uses 2 x AAA batteries rather than the less common button batteries.It was easy to setup and the graphs present the readings in a useful way.Alexa can report the temperature but not the humidity of my outdoor meters (she just returns the humidity of one of my indoor meters) - I believe this is a bug they are working on. Both are displayed and recorded in the app which is fine for my purposes.I’m happy to recommend the kit.

I own several thermometers from SwitchBot along with the hub mini. Having the Pro meter now gives the ability to link to another SwitchBot thermometer in another room or outside so you can see the temperature of that device alongside the Pro meter. I have it linked to an external thermometer which is great to have that quick visual without having to ask Alexa or open the app to check.Only negative is the date format being displayed in MM/DD/YY

Great bit of kit, I’m using it to monitor my loft for humidity and controlling a fan dependent on the levels with Home Assistant. The display is very clear and easy to read, and alarms can be set in the app to warn you when a threshold is met or exceeded. Can’t fault it for the price .

The SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer USER MANUAL states, specifically:"This product shows best performance when operated within THE RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY RANGE OF 5 °C TO 60 °C AND 20 % RH TO 80 % RH RESPECTIVELY. Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may accelerate ageing."This Temperature and Humidity range is well within that normally experienced in the UK, and this product is therefore unsuitable for use within this country.POTENTIAL PURCHASERS SHOULD BE WARNED OF THEIR LIMITATIONS.A refund is therefore being requested.
