Laundry Brilliant Bleach Stain Remover Powder, Cleans & Brightens without Chlorine, 1 x 400g

Used this to try and get some small stains out of some white clothes. I used it to soak the clothes before washing even with scrubbing at them, stains didn't remove. I then used them in the washing machine and again didn't get stains out at all. Used normal bleach instead and stains came out easily. Would not recommend this product at all.

There was ketchup stain on my white shirt, I tried first wash as prescribed in product cover, it didnt have any effect on the stain I used double the quantity and for longer time, still no effect at all Finally I used co-op white bleach liquid and the stain has faded off. This product has absolutely neither any effect on brightening the white nor any on reducing the stain. Do Not recommend at all

I wanted so much for this to work, as my whites are ranging from off white to grey. I wanted to use something that was good for the environment and Eco. I put 2 tablespoons of this product in the machine with my not so white cotton sheets and ecover soap soap powder, on 95 deg setting, and the sheets came out the same colour they went in. The same happened with my white cotton vests - went in grey and came out grey. So disappointed.

Tried both putting it in with the washing and soaking overnight. Just not strong enough unfortunately. Shame because it’s only use is that it’s good for you the planet, but a totally waste of money so actually probably not.

I followed the instructions to the letter. Soaked in warm water with 1 tablespoon of the whitener. Then, after a few hours, removed the sheets to wash in the machine with 2 tablespoons of the whitener. I'm disappointed to see that the whitener has left grey marks across this set of bedding, making them significantly worse than before. The machine was filled with only the duvet cover and two pillow cases, so it wasn't overloaded, and linen wasn't on the non compliant material list. Like the other minority of reviewers, I have no idea why the major of people are getting good results?!

There was no fragrance in this powder bleach previously and as it's Ecover I assumed it would remain an eco friendly product. Alas that's no longer the case. The smell is disgusting. I use it to clean stained mugs and my teapot and I'm still trying to get the stink out as I don't want my beverages to taste of perfume and vile fragrance at that. Very disappointed and I won't buy again!

It has never worked for me. My whites are still bad. I ended up ordering a lot too. I should have waited until I tried it first before ordering more than one in one go. It’s not worth the hype

Never mind whitening, it stained some of the white items (like cotton socks, and cotton bath mat with rubberized backing to make it non-slip) in my laundry load! This happened three times, and the only common denominator was using this in my wash. I had to use regular bleach to get rid of the cream-coloured blotches on the socks and recycled the bath mat.
