I recently ordered this RC car as a birthday gift for the 5-year-old son of a friend. The package includes everything needed to get started, even the AA batteries for the remote, which is a nice touch. At this price point, the package offers good value. Despite a few limitations, I am giving this product 4 stars because, for under $15, it makes for a compelling gift idea for young kids. Once turned on, the RC car features blinky multicolored LEDs that light up the body and two white headlights, making it look cool and fun. The remote control is simple to operate, and driving the car is enjoyable. It gets zippy very fast and darts across the room in no time. Although I haven’t tested it outdoors, it performs well on carpeted floors, showing no signs of struggle to pick up speed. I played with it for 20-25 minutes, and the battery was still holding up. The body is detachable from the chassis using four small plastic hairpins. However, the body is very lightweight and made of thin plastic, which feels like it may crack over time. Despite this, the toy makes for a budget-friendly gift idea and is fun to play with while it lasts! Pros: Two rechargeable cells included: Great for continuous play. Two AA cells and a screwdriver included for the remote: Convenient and ready to use out of the box. Fun driving experience: The tires are soft and grip well, and the car goes fast. Cons: Overall build quality is flimsy: Does not feel durable. Limited remote control functionality: Both the turn wheel and throttle have only two positions—Left-Right and Stop-Go. Steering limitations: The steering has only two positions, full right or full left and a large turning radius. Thin plastic body: The detachable body is made of very thin plastic and feels flimsy. Overall, this RC car is a fun and affordable gift for young kids, offering an exciting driving experience despite its build quality limitations.

Great little RC Car for an amazing price! This thing is FAST and surprisingly durable. The video I included doesn't show great driving skills, but that's because it's my 3-year old granddaughter driving, and I can assure you it took a beating but still held strong. It was bought for my grandson, so when my granddaughter was done with it, she threw it to her brother so he could race it. none of us were expecting that, and he didn't catch it. It just slammed into the driveway and bounced around. Didn't seem to do any damage luckily. I would recommend this for slightly older kids, maybe 8 and up? just a thought as my grandkids, 5 and 3, didn't do so well driving it around. LOL Granted there is no variable speed, or variable turning, it's all left, or all right, all gas, or no gas. but that's to be expected for an RC car under $20. Sweet that it comes with two rechargable batteries, so I don't burn through a bunch of my own batteries, and they are charged ready to go when you get it. We burned through the two batteries pretty quick, but they charge quickly as well. Also comes with a small screwdriver and an extra clip for the body cover. Looking for a fun inexpensive RC car for outdoor play? I would say this is a good choice.

This RC car is a fun toy. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for use in the car that are already charged so you can play with it right away. There is a charging cord included in the box as well. It also comes with two regular AA batteries for the remote (not rechargeable). The body of the car is flexible, so it resist breaking when it collides with things. It also lights up which is hard to see during the day, but looks cool at night. In my last photo you can see the blue coming from the underside of the car. The light changes colors constantly. In the video I had a hard time steering the car because I was only using one hand (filming with the other). The car had a harder time driving over the grass, but to be fair, my grass needs mowed. It doesn't sit that high off the ground though, so this may be used easier on cement. This car is inexpensive (12.97 at time of order), especially since it comes with two rechargeable batteries and a charging cord, so it's a great value!
