GoodCook Gourmet Cutting Board 16"x12" Acacia

This is a very nice cutting board. Beautiful and sturdy. I don't understand the other reviews claiming it gets all sliced up and looking bad after one use. I've used it numerous times and it still looks good.

This is a great looking and practical board for such a good price. I needed to have more prep space and needed a board to fit on top of a pull out drawer in front of my counter. I use it everyday for cutting produce mostly. It wipes easily, is not porous, and my fresh tomatoes juices don't spill over due to the indent around the edge. I highly recommend it.

To be honest this was a replacement board for another shipment that got lost. I was really impressed with the quality, size and thickness. Lasered beautifully and the client was thrilled.

The wood is beautiful. I knocked one star off due to it looks bad after the first use with all the knife marks.

Wait why didn’t I own this until now???

I bought the cutting board for travel. I have been using is for 5 weeks and hand washing. Already beginning to split. Not a very good product, but I didn't pay much for its either. I will have to replace within the next couple months.

This cutting board looks like it can be good for use with dry food items such as vegetables and perhaps some dried meats, but I am concerned with bacteria buildup being a potential issue due to how many knots and rough edges mine has. It looks great, however I would be weary of purchasing this cutting board for wet food prep as there are numerous crevices present on the cutting surface that I fear may trap food particles and moisture, which can lead to mold or bacteria. However, this product is nice enough to perhaps be used as a charcuterie board thanks to its somewhat shiny acacia finish. It provides ample space for basic dry food prep thanks to it being 1.25 feet in length. If you are a bit crafty, you can potentially attempt to epoxy seal it and then be reassured in using it with meat and fruits, but for the average person, I would suggest a different cutting board that is a sealed wood or plastic.

I love this cutting board It's great quality and very beautiful The only thing I'm disappointed with is the one I got didn't look as pretty. It has quite a bit of the white metallic key part of the Acacia wood which is neat but I was hoping to have a blend. The board itself is amazing and works well. It does leave marks in the wood but what cutting board doesn't that's made of wood when you take a sharp object to it.

Beautiful color, sturdy table. Matches my Acadia dining table as well. I like how the logo is hidden on the back. Its a very good thickness but not too heavy

Good size. Looks pretty good and the bottom is nice and flat. Finish wasn't the greatest though. It's made from multiple strips of wood glued together and sanded down. Unfortunately one part wasn't sanded enough so that you can actually feel where it's glued together. Not a big deal when it comes to functionality but for a board listed as "gourmet" with a premium price I would have expected more attention to detail.

The type and size was great but there are parts of it that looked warped and discolored. The one I bought before was better
