A great chef’s knife that won’t break the bank.
So surprised at the quality of this very cheap knife. Arrived promptly. Grippy handle. Super duper sharp. Easy to use. A great chef’s knife that won’t break the bank.

Excellent value and well made.
Very good value for a general use chef's knife. I wish it was a little longer but it's fine for smaller jobs. Arrives very sharp and stays that way with an occasional gentle brush against a fine diamond honing steel. Can't beat the value. Time will tell if it's on a par with Victorinox Fibrox or equivalents at twice the price or more.

Great knife at a very reasonable price
This knife sits nicely alongside my other chef's knives. The steel is good quality and the handle, while not very beautiful, feels grippy and ergonomic, and this results in a very good user experience.

Nice Budget-Friendly Knife
This is a nice chef's knife with a really comfortable handle that feels nice to use. Reasonably sharp though nothing incredible in that department. If you don't have a chef's knife this is a reasonable budget-friendly option. If you have a bit more to spend; probably get a Victorinox instead.

8-in. chef's knife is great value
The 8-in. chef’s knife is superb value. The blade is very sharp, the handle is comfortable and the balance is good. I’m no expert on kitchen knives, but I’d compare this to a Mora outdoor knife from Sweden – no-frills design that values the quality of the steel over fancy handles or brass rivets. The steel is not the hardest, so it should sharpen easily and often. It’s not a full tang, but I don’t think that matters at all. The blade is deep – 50 mm – so it probably won’t fit in your knife block. I bought a Mercer plastic sheath instead, which works fine.

An above average chef's knife
A good knife in the start but the edge started to fade as went along. Has good built and feel good while gripping. The grip is of good design and fits very well in hands. Typical chef's knife design to function so that you can have rocker movement for cutting.

Excellent Knife for an excellent price
Very good knife for a basic price. Will need sharpening but when sharpened is extremely sharp so be careful.

great basic knife for everyday use
great knife for the value. bought it months ago and use it almost every time i cook along side a fancier japanese knife and use the mercer one more as a "beater knife". it stills feels sharp and performs very well and i expect to have it for a while and sharpen or replace when needed. highly recommend as a basic knife that performs very well in any kitchen for a great price.

Great and affordable knife
I was actually recommended this specific knife from a popular kitchen cooking youtube channel and let me tell you, this knife is great for the price that is worth. It sliceds vegetables easily and has a very sharp blade. Though I wished this knife also came with a little holder, or sheath to put the blade in as I had to separately by one or else the knife was just left out in the open and could damage by cabinets and furniture.
