Gran Caffè Garibaldi Espresso Pods, Decaffeinato, 50Count

Tastes great and gets delivered quickly. Sometimes it is for a half caff doppio, other times for just the pleasure of an Espresso. I've ordered several times and will keep coming back.

Love it. Keep buying over and over. Tastes great. Great aroma. Flavor intense enough that sometimes I'll use twice, a long and a short. Did a blind taste test with my daughter and this one won hands down.

I will preface this with the statement that. as someone that grew up in the Pacific Northwest and was first a barista in the late '80's, long before much of America was even aware of something more than Folgers... I have always been quite picky about coffee, and now that I have been mostly relegated to decaf for health reasons, I am perhaps more picky about coffee flavor (cause I'm not getting it for the caffeine). I had been trying various decafs as a lower cost alternative to the very good Nespresso Volluto Decaf that has been my usual and had been surprised that Amazon Fresh Espresso Decaffeinato Dark Roast was a pretty good balance of quality to price and started stocking up on that now that our economy is in the toilet and my rich taste in coffee is in conflict. Well, that leads us to Gran Caffè Garibaldi Decaffeinated Espresso Pods. I made this purchase when the Amazon Fresh Espresso Decaffeinato suddenly went out of stock. I took a chance on this because of a review that thought that this was likely the company that Amazon sourced theirs from... I can unequivocally say that this is not true. the Gran Caffè Garibaldi Decaffeinated Espresso Pods starts with an odd, slightly chemical odor upon extraction. It continues with a confusingly slightly pleasant, yet burned first taste that is quickly overtaken by burned bean plus slightly chemical flavor. This is a flavor that I have experienced with cheaper decafs and while disappointed, I am not suprised. It only confirms that there are many people who review that have burned out tastebuds. Needless to say, I am stuck with 45 capsules that are not at all to my taste, but if the economy gets much worse, perhaps I will have no choice but to to torture my taste buds and finish them. I would say I wouldn't touch them till gas gets to $25 a gallon, that is my threshold for these capsules.

Two out of 3 orders were 5-star, one box was not good at all, the alumium would break during brewing and the taste was very different from the other boxes. Too bad it's not consistent good quality.

Excellent decaffeinated expresso. I ordered many times this expresso brand and I love it.

😖 So bad. The pods themselves are fine, I haven't had any issue with them. However, when brewing, the coffee smells like beans. Pinto, not coffee. Barring you can get past that smell, the coffee tastes burnt, old, and weak. I have tried every trick I can to make this 'coffee' drinkable and every trick is a fail. Disappointing.
