Does what it do!

This holds a tablet or a medium sized laptop, say 14 inches nothing bigger, quite well. Does not weigh too much so the arm doesn't drop. The bottom clamps are adjustable for different thicknesses, and this works very well for my rogue notebook computer. You may have to provide your own screws depending on the bracket you put it on. Overall the build quality is very strong and there's some nice padding protection for your laptop or tablet

What more can you say about this - it definitely fits a standard VESA mount and is a shelf for a laptop! Excellent for any office cube with an arm. Have not had any issues regarding the heft of my laptop, it doesn't tip or loose its rotation or anything. It's everything it's advertised as!

The lip that holds the laptop is unnecessarily tall and hooks too much. Laptops these days are no thicker than half an inch. Tablets are even thinner than phones now. This prevents you from closing/opening the laptop past these hooks while the laptop is on the mount. Its better off without the hooks. You have to take the laptop out to open/close the lid. The hooks are also just about spacebar length apart which means your wrists or forearms may even hit these hooks if you tend to rest your hand on the touch pad. Thankfully, the hooks are removable leaving behind just the padded lip that is just about half an inch tall, see? Other than that, the mount has good weight to it so you will need to tighten up that VESA arm so that the weight of the laptop doesn't sag the arm. Kinda narrow so larger 15-17 inch laptops may be unstable. If you have a 12-14 inch or tablet, you will like this more I think.

If you use multiple computers/laptops or have a setup where your laptop uses multiple monitors then this mount is for you. You can easily free up desk space by attaching this laptop holder to any VESA mount to customize your workspace. I have a macbook pro, an external monitor for it, and a pc with an ultrawide monitor all lined up on my desk so I can handle different types of files for my clients without having to adjust my workspace to each project. Pair this with a KVM switch and you can toggle your keyboard and mouse between devices seamlessly. This holder is well-built, easy to use, and sturdy but I do wish it could securely clamp down on a thin macbook. I have no problems using it with my stationary stand and the laptop sits securely but I wouldn't recommend using this with a jointed stand. I don't imagine it will be a problem for many people but if your stand is in a place where your laptop could get bumped into then I'd suggest securing it in place with some extra padding or thicker anti-slip grips.

Screws provided are 6mm diameter and standard VESA mount holes are 4mm diameter. This wont work without drilling VESA mount

The screws that come with the tray do not fit on either of my two arm mounts. Nowhere in the description does it mention this. The screws that come with the tray are M6 and my arms are M4. Maybe add this information in the description to save people the trouble of having to send it back. Overall, it seems like a very sturdy tray; if it would fit, it would probably be fine.
