The minute I saw the Retro Collector's Edition, I wanted it. This isn't just another plastic construction toy—it brings back memories of the Tonka trucks we had growing up, when these things felt like they were built to survive anything a kid could throw at them. The extra steel is what really makes it for me. Pick it up and there's a substantial feel that you just don't get from an all-plastic toy. The classic yellow Mighty Dump Truck design also looks exactly like a Tonka should. I actually appreciate that Tonka went with the retro styling instead of trying to modernize everything. There's something cool about being able to give a kid a version of a toy that reminds me of what we played with decades ago. The working dump bed adds plenty of play value, whether it's hauling dirt outside, blocks around the house, or whatever else a kid decides needs to be transported that day. And I'll admit, calling this a "Collector's Edition" creates a little dilemma. Part of me wants to keep it looking perfect, and the other part remembers that Tonka trucks were made to be played with. Today's kids may see a cool yellow dump truck. I see a little piece of childhood sitting in the box—and that's what makes this one special.

Sits out in my yard through all the weather. Drawn all over and abused but seems like it will last forever.

Got this for my neighbor boy on his 3rd birthday. It's just like to old ones I used to play with 35 years ago. Highly recommend if you are looking for the good, old solid truck as they used to make them.

Bought this for my son and he loves it. He is one and loves to push it around, put his toys in it and sit in it lol. It was worth the cost, the size is large which makes it even more fun for the kids. It can be played with inside or outside. It's heavy duty and sturdy. If your considering it go for it!

The best toy you could give your child, made with exceptional materials that will last for years, can't be damaged, that is a 100% .

We bought this as a gift for our two year old grandson because we got his dad the same truck when HE was two. It’s wonderful that Tonka trucks haven’t changed much, and our little guy just loves it. Perfect to load up all his toys and blocks. Great quality and will be awesome at the beach or in a sand box. These things last FOREVER!

Estilo retro! Bonito como adorno!

As always old fashioned Tonka quality. Wish they still made the truck & horse trailer.

Bought for my grandson who loves everything trucks. This reminded me of what I seen boys play with when I was growing up. Love the retro style and did not disappoint.
