I've used it twice since receiving it last week and it couldn't be easier. I'm older lady with hand issues and it does hurt and isn't hard to use. Just love it. Makes getting all the corn off the cob so easy.

I’ve always cut my corn off the cob because I started wearing glasses at a very young age. When I bit into the cob, corn juice would squirt all over my glasses. If I cut it off with a knife, it was very messy, especially if I cooked the corn before cutting it off the cob! Burnt finger tips, bowl would slip away from me, corn kernels all over! This is EXACTLY what I have been waiting for since I was 5 years old! (65 now)! Once you cook your corn, place this gadget on the bare cob, and push down forcefully. The kernels stay INSIDE this piece, and you just pop it open and dump it into a bowl! No messy face! No missed kernels! I will buy more, so I will never be without one! I expect mine to come up missing once my friends and family try it!!! 😉

Unfortunately in my excitement to make a sweet summer corn soup I got a little excited and didn’t read the reviews. Unfortunately, couldn’t get it through even one ear of corn. I tried three times. I will say, I think if it’s store bought packaged corn this MAY work. But actual corn on the cob, the ear is too big for this to make it all the way to the end therefore wasting pretty much the whole cob when you have to force the mechanism back up the ear to get it off. Kernels get wedged in the various parts making it difficult to clean. Disappointed as I was so excited for this! I was relieved to use a knife to the remaining ears because comparatively it was so much easier!

Just what I ordered. I used it tonight and worked good. the only thing is that container is hard to clean corn out but not a big deal. I peeled off the kernals of 4 ears in about 5 minutes.

I found it rather cumbersome to use and difficult to clean because of the sharp blades.

i have false teeth but now i can eat corn on the cob. so easy to use. thank you so much to care about the people that loves corn on the cob and enjoy the rest of the summer. sandy fleming [email protected]

I love this thing!!!We have a great local farm stand where we get fresh corn on the cob all summer. I love it but due to dental surgery I had, I am not supposed to bite into food with my front teeth. So, I was using a kitchen knife to remove the corn from the cob. That worked ok but this little dohickey is SO much easier and creates much less mess.The only negative I would note is that the "spout" that the kernels are supposed to come out of is kind of small and doesn't really work but I just open it up and dump them on the plate, nbd.
