No issues out of the box ready to go after charging
My grandson loves it. I love the fact I can set the power level and speed.

Decent speed
This scooter is foldable, easy to store and take away. Build quality looks durable. I enjoy the smooth and fun ride. However, when i first put it together, it didn’t power on. The instruction on step 2 just mentions putting the scooter head onto the body and fixing with 6 screws. I found out the power connector cable was actually disconnected. Once the wire is connected, it powers on. So hope this helps if you run into the sane issue.

Unbeatable scooter for the sale price!
Overall great scooter for the sale price 600$ The app needs some work and the acceleration might be too much for some people.

Battery and throttle issues
Ordered a NIU 100F ....well built but was showing Error code 39 on the first day (usually associated with a bad battery) would start to go up a short hill and stop before getting to top. Had to wait and let it cool before using to get home at 2-5 mph. Sent it back to Amazon. Just ordered a 300 X, unboxed and seemed to be built very well. Battery ran fine going up hills with no error code but throttle is super sensitive in S mode and will not allow you to hold a constant speed. Seems to jump in and out of power and this disrupts the balance of scooter. Going to play with setting in app but may have to return this one as well. Just a shame because there is a lot I like about the scooter but throttle reliability and rideability is a real issue. Suggest NIU test their scooters before shipping.

I recommend getting something else.
Honestly Do not recommend. The first scooter arrived and didn't charge due to defective battery. Thankfully, Amazon sent me a return order and I got it replaced the next day. Three months into driving, my rear tire somehow busted open from the side “it was not a puncture” And had to have my tire replaced. (The replacement tires for the NIU kqi300x out of stock so I had to buy one from Amazon for $40 and installing it costed $50) App is simple but could be better. And that would be my long rant thanks for reading, and drive safe brothers!

Horrible Suspension
I have severe neuropathy and arthritis in my feet. I chose this scooter so I could exercise/walk my dog more than a few minutes. Yellow lab under two years old: enough said. Online reviews describe it as off road, all terrain as well as the manufacturer’s Amazon description. I used it in fields surrounding my property. They are mowed by a tractor with PTO driven finish mower. I tried it in my yard and it was very bumpy and the field was entirely unmanageable. Violent shaking, literal teeth clashing vibrations. If I could manage this ride (I can’t), I doubt based on other reviews, the scooter could function long without needing major repair. I’m 69 years old and my upper torso can’t even handle the ride. I’m going to try an e-bike with a much longer travel in the suspension. I don’t think anyone can ride this off road. One reviewer mentions the same complaint. I couldn’t read all of the negative reviews there are so many. As for “Top” or “Our Pick” online, reviews I’ve learned my lesson.

Love my lightweight super smooth NIU K100P
NIU KP 100 review also my 4th NIU product in our family. (The Toyota of Escooters) Part 1: Unboxing The scooter is packaged very well. All key components are properly protected and wrapped. There were no defects, scratches and all the parts noted are include. Product manual and other parts are all package neatly. Comes with screws and tools to install the handlebar which was very easy. The charger is smaller and more compact versus previous generation which is more portable and packable if you decide to take with you. Part 2: Setting it up for the first ride. After peeling all the labels which is very satisfying, you then must download the app. Straightforward task that updates all the required firmware and complete the learning mode(fist 5km is limited speed on save mode then it unlocks to full speed). The display has the QR code to pair and calibrate the scooter setting to your liking. This includes 0km kick start setting which is awesome, light and braking setup. If you are familiar with the NIU app it is great and seamless. Make sure to fully charge it and check tire pressure. Part 3: The ride I love this scooter!!! I had the NIU KQI 3Pro and X300 for 2 seasons with no issues. Still runs with power and no hesitation. The product quality, craftsmanship and overall ride feel is superb for my NIU scooters vs other brands out there at the same price range. I have ridden Apollo, Segway, Gotrax, Hiboy etc. NIU by far is the best bang for your buck $. Great customers service, 2 year warranty not to mention transferable warranty. Going over bumps is way smoother due to the shocks of the scooter. Another note to mention is the weight just under 40lbs it is easy to load in to public transportation or in your home, car etc. Stopping power is confident and precise. Headlights is perfect for night riding and rear tail is key fot low light riding. Twist throttle is very accurate and the power is there when you need it. Verdict: Overall ride feel is way more smoother vs other cheaper brands and C’mon man look at that! She looks beautiful 😊. I highly suggest the upgrade vs other brands and models based on what you get (bang for your buck and scooter quality). NIU has been around for a while now and their customer support and R&D are now more improved heck they are even listed on the Nasdaq. I hope my review has been useful and can aid you pick the scooter that fits your needs.

NIU KQi 300X - Overall well built/great scooter with one single let down
Overall, I like this scooter in general. I purchased 300X. It delivers incredibly solid hardware and a fun, powerful ride, but it falls notably short in one critical advertised metric. The Pros: ---Built Like a Tank: The scooter is exceptionally sturdy and feels well-engineered. ---Excellent Ride Comfort: The combination of the great front suspension and the bigger tires works great when going over bumps or uneven pavement. It irons out rough roads very well. ---Sport Mode is a Rocket: The scooter features two main standalone modes: E-save and Sport. Switching into Sport mode is CRAZY—it takes off like a little rocket. ---Advertised Speed is Spot On: The speed in Sport mode hits 38 km/h exactly as advertised. It has incredible acceleration, and you definitely need a helmet when pushing it in Sport mode. E-save mode speed is either 15km/hr or 25km/hr, but very smooth ride. ---Superb Braking & Throttle Control: The dual disc brakes are awesome, though honestly, I haven’t even had to use them all that much yet. Just letting go of the twist throttle slows the scooter down significantly via regenerative braking. I've mostly had to use the mechanical brakes only for immediate stops or coming to a complete halt at traffic lights. ---Reasonable Charge Time: It takes right around 5 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery from empty. IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of how fast it takes off on SPORT MODE and its high top speed, I do not recommend using it on small streets, tight roads, or crowded downtown areas. It is much better suited for main, straight streets or long, open rides where you can safely let it cruise. Use E-SAVE MODE on small streets/downtown. The Cons: ---Disappointing Real-World Range: This is where the scooter really misses the mark. It is heavily advertised as having up to a 60 km range, but real-world testing shows it delivers barely half of that: >>>Test 1: On a fully charged battery running exclusively in SPORT mode, the scooter lasted for a 31 km range over 1 hour and 26 minutes of moving time, riding on mostly even roads. >>>Test 2: On the next day, another fully charged battery lasted just a 33 km range across 2 hours and 04 minutes of moving time, which included a lot of stopping and starting on smaller streets. ---I completely understand that factors like rider weight, uphill/downhill terrain, and wind resistance play a major role in battery depletion. However, getting roughly 50% of the advertised 60 km is highly frustrating. I expected at bare minimum a 40 km range as the absolute baseline, so I am incredibly disappointed with this aspect of the performance. Final Verdict: If you are buying this for pure speed, structural durability, and a smooth suspension ride on long straight stretches, you will love it. Just be fully prepared for the fact that if you ride it like it's meant to be ridden (in Sport mode), you will need to cut your range expectations in half. Getting it during SALE/PROMOTION price is a good deal imo. Regular price i would think twice. Will update in the future, if needed.

Fantastic E scooter
A totally Fantastic E Scooter... my last one was a segway ninebot Kickstart. Which was ok ! But this one blows it away the dual shocks in front are amazing for a comfortable ride ! A extra wide stand on deck is great and is fairly fast on the acceration .

my first scooter, the build quality is not bad at all, i only have problem with the rear no suspension its shaking my brains, i hope NIU can build a rear suspension kit for us user to buy, we need it pls. This niu has Strong 500 watts motor the speed is steady uphill im 66kg, good brakes, good tires, good app lock using bluetooth, bright headlight rear tail light and turn signal light, I use it to commute to work night or day, package is safe, I like throttle type, I like UL certified for safety, I hope they put a find my tracker app, I hope they put the turn signal button on the left side away from throttle, in the rear I can feel all the bumps in the city, I hope they have option for off-road tires I want to use it for winter.
