Great but price creeping up.

Great value at the price, balanced, smooth and accessible
One of my favourites as a regular tipple. As a cheap ‘everyday’ (regular weekend) whisky this is a great option when you can get it for around £30. It’s smooth and not particularly demanding, but has a decent amount of body. Expect toffee/caramel and delicate fruit flavours and a smooth balanced finish. Not the most demanding but a very accessible easy-drinking single malt at 43%. The description of rich-textured is accurate and one of the best single malts at around the £30 mark.

Best enjoyed from freezer
A friend recommended winters gold and said the best way to enjoy a dram is from the freezer, it’s a really strange but nice experience, it has sweet and spiced notes making it feel rich and strong but really enjoyable, quite different to the taste at room temperature but I definitely recommend trying this especially at the £25 if on offer, it won’t be taking up valuable freezer space for long.

Drinkablity, colour, quality of the bottle shape, unique taste with a higher than usual alcohol content. Gorgeous!
