Only worked for 4 months
Looked legit. Worked for 4 months, then…The button popped out. I can very gentling push it back into place but one of these times the button will pop off and land on the ground, lost forever.Yes I am grown adult and the water bottle was not handled roughly or tossed around. The spring and plastic are just failing to work. Sad ☹️

Replacement Lid
My daughter’s Owala lid broke. The spring that pops it open popped out. This was a good replacement. It fit nicely and is leak proof. It did seem to get scuffed and dirtier faster than her original one. All in all a good value for what you get instead of replacing the entire cup!

Looks nice but...
Fits Owalla bottles as advertised but the release function is extremely tight and does not function well. Would work in a pinch but not the best.

faulty release button.
The top came broken, the release button was popped off and couldn’t be reinstalled. luckily all we needed was the top part to fix my other top so we kept it.

It’s good to know that you can interchange the lids to create a new color scheme for your water bottle whether you have a 24, 32 or 40 oz.
