3/8"- 90,000 BTU LP Air Mixture Mixer Valve for Propane Fire Pits or Fireplace

Got this to pair with a 12" round burner for a fire pit table and it works just as advertised. Helps to create a very large and clean burning flame. No soot, no smoke, very happy with this air mixer. As advertised - good product

I bought this to convert my Endless Summer, GAD860SP, LP Gas Outdoor Firebowl with Slate/Marble Mantel per the instructions by Stefan Urquelle (the video review here). There is a part in the video where you must connect this piece to an adapter that goes to the propane regulator. So, I'm not knowledgable in any of this so the more help I can get the better. So when my part came I was thrilled with the label directing me to the website for more information. I didn't think I would need it but it is important to have the proper adaptor to bring this piece to the propane regulator. It's the part in Stefan's video that sends us off the the hardware store. My journey failed miserably. Three days of searching with no results lead me to my "duh" moment where I thought to call Dreffco for help and boy, did I get help. In order to understand exactly what I needed the gentleman went to the video to see what I was trying to do. Understood what I was trying to do and though he warned me that an air mixer must be directly connected to the burner, he approved this set up as long as there was a regulator. There is a very strong effort to insure safety with Dreffco. The label on my mixture valve, the information from the man who answered the phone and website all send a message of conscious care. By the way, They knew that part i needed and are sending it out. As soon as I get it I'll post it here so you can do the brilliant upgrade Stefan shared.

it was hard to find but they had gets the right valve that i was looking for and it works great

I tried adding this to a fire ring kit I purchased as a package unit so I know all of those parts work well together. I installed this with the arrow pointing toward the flame and holes down. When I turn on the gas it just comes out the holes in the mixer so this does not work.

made my LP (propane) fire pit glow a perfect orange with very little soot.
