What are the dimensions, width and total length?

The width is 2.75" the length is 375 feet..!

Is there a special holder or something used to wet this tape? I cant see having to lay it out to wipe it with a wet sponge. Thanks

I'm sure there is somewhere but I use a soaking wet bath cloth layed in the bottom of the sink. Unless you have a special or a commercial need the method works fine, at least it does for me. I don't lay the tape out but hold adhesive side down on the soaked cloth with my right hand and pull the tape with my left. I get a little adhesive on my hands but it washed right off.

Is this acceptable for to usps for sealing valuable registered mail packages.?

Earl, it does. It's is really strong and works great. Plus, it's recyclable with the boxes (where duct tape needs to be removed).
