These are proper iron work, came with screws and wallplugs although I did upgrade them to much deeper stronger plug and screw as I was using the brackets for very thick wood and books, need a bit of a clean as the manufacturing process has left some black soot like residue but nothing a quick wipe down didn’t solve, highly recommend

Brought these to fix up 3 heavy shelves in living room. the shelves are made from thick and heavy timber usually used for roofing struts these brackets work great and look great, they finish off the shelves perfectly and are very good quality

Really pleased with these brackets. I ordered three for scaffolding board shelves on 120cm. The combined weight of each shelf is around 9kg. I’ve put mine into dot and dab walls and used two different fixings (Rawlplug hollow wall anchors and much longer plugs / screws that go into the masonry behind the plasterboard. I would recommend both fixings, but the latter if you are intending on putting heavy items on these shelves. The brackets themselves are well made and slightly rough around the edges (which fits the aesthetic). The black coating uses does rub off a bit, so be careful when handling. Overall, I’m very pleased

Brought these for a home diy project to create shelves out of some old scaffold boards. Very happy with the quality and function of these. The one thing to call out is that these are quite heavy as made from cast metal so make sure you have strong walls and/or good fittings. Im in a newbuild with plasterboard walls so had to invest on some decent fittings. Update - still going strong and in total I have now brought 7 pairs of these over 3 different orders for different shelves. Still holding strong and the product itself is fantastic. Would still say if you are in a new house with crappy plasterboard walls like mine you just need to invest in good fittings as they are quite heavy themselves and if used with a solid wood shelf you would definitely need it to be secure.

Very happy with these brackets. They're chunky & perfect for use with scaffold board shelves. They look well made & great value. I would definitely order again. One thing worth pointing out... They are covered in black dust from being made & if they're being used on a light coloured wall will leave marks if you're trying different placements as well as all over your hands. It's best to wipe them over with a soft cloth beforehand.
