Fixing My Feet
Great. Could not find firm soles anywhere. Now I supply my own. Feels surprisingly good and supportive. If, after hours of wear I need a break, I take them out of my shoes and put them in my bag. They take up almost no space. Amazing, actually. Compares to the feeling I have after wearing LL Bean shoes. I wore soles that were too soft for too long. Bad things happen when your feet move in ways they really shouldn't. I think I slowly moved things out of place. These are actually fixing that for less than $20. I no longer experience the pain out of nowhere that I used to. They are a godsend.

Good Carbon Fiber Plates
My daughter needed carbon, fiber, and salt or extraction rack to her foot. We ordered these due to the low cost and weโre not disappointed. The size was as advertised. It fit her shoe. I canโt see any of these comfortable since it is a metal plate, your shoe, but I feel it does what it supposed to do. The Support is there, the plates do not bend.. They are easy to use if you just sit in your shoe they have waxed through an entire Field Hockey in lacrosse season and they still looking brand new.

Very stiff and hard, which may be good or bad depending
I had an injury to a toe which I was trying to avoid bending much so I got these; I put one under the insole of my shoe. So, first: these are very stiff and keep from bending exceptionally well. You can bend it with strength to some curve but it takes effort. This is good, because that's what you need to keep the toe from bending much. But, it's also bad, because most shoes have a bit of a curve to them all the time, and this insole effectively reduces the shoe volume because it's pushing up even when you're just standing there. In addition, as I said they're hard. Even if you're wearing clouds on your feet (like Hoka shoes), you will feel the hardness, because there's just your thin insole between you and the rock hard unforgiving carbon fiber insole. Really though, that comes with the territory - if you don't want it to bend it's going to be hard, because soft things are very bendy. IMO the product would be greatly improved by being constructed with a bit of a curve to it to match typical shoes. Maybe, make a version for running shoes that has the carbon fiber insole match the curvature of the footbed of running shoes when they're at rest. Though I didn't find them super comfortable however, they kept my toe safe, and thus the carbon fiber insole's reduction of comfort was worth it vs continuing to injure the toe. Using these insoles for a couple weeks I was able to get the toe past the crux of healing and was then able to remove the insoles. I'll definitely keep these, and would recommend them to others with a toe problem, with the aforementioned caveats. They kindly ship you a pair; I only needed them for one foot, so I put one in one pair of shoes, and one in my work boots. You may consider putting them in both shoes to ensure your gait isn't benefited on one side and not the other.

Worth the money, and they work great!
I suffer from Big Toe Joint pain in both feet, but especially in my right foot. This is a result of the connective tissue being worn away between the toe joints, leading to bone on bone friction. At the suggestion of my orthopedist last year, I bought one carbon fiber insert (another seller through Amazon with a product called Onujo fiber insole) to put into my right shoe, so that my right foot toes don't bend when walking. It did the trick. The insert took the pressure off my right toe, because it stayed stable, so almost no pain. I did need a soft insert (e.g., like a Dr. Scholl's gel insert) over the carbon fiber insert because I needed some padding to protect my heel and sole from the carbon fiber's hard surface. I felt sometimes on my right foot that I was walking like Frankenstein, just plopping my foot down, because the foot didn't bend when it hit the ground. Unfortunately, the pain got so bad this year that I had surgery to fuse my Big Toe. Now it really doesn't bend at all, so no friction and no pain, and the carbon fiber insert keeps my right foot flat. Since my left Big Toe pain is now getting worse, I decided to get another carbon fiber insert to see if that would help me postpone surgery for that foot. I went with this vendor because I got two inserts compared to the price of the one I bought last year. So far, so good. These inserts appear to be identical in every way except for the price, and hopefully they keep me walking and pain-free for a good, long time.

Recommend
My ortho doctor recommended these. Iโve developed arthritis & beginning of bone spurs in the bones on the top of my foot. These are a firm, rigid PLATE that keep your shoe from bending at the toe & ball of foot thus relieving pressure farther up the foot. They are NOT a soft, comfy, arch support. That is not their purpose. They help prevent flexing of the toes/ball of foot & in doing so yes, your heel rises out of your shoe a little. Takes some gtg used to cuz it makes your shoe rigid & they prevent you from pushing off from the toe area as you walk. I ordered my shoe size & they fit perfectly. You rip out your shoes insole. Put in the carbon plate & cover with the insole that comes with the plate. After a couple days I am 90% pain free. Highly recommend.

Close to perfect but just falls short
I got this innersole after I crushed my toe and was moving from a surgical shoe to a hard soled shoe. I got the innersole to minimize bending and while it does that itโs not the perfect solution. Because you have to size down slightly to be able to push the sole into your shoe, it will slide back slightly when you walk and allow a little more bend than expected. It still allowed me to transition from a surgical boot with a little care when walking so it was a plus still. The soles that come with it are kinda junky but you will need something between the carbon fiber and your foot or it gets uncomfortable quickly and is slippery. It will be tough to slide them into a sneaker but a little wiggling will get it in. Overall they did the job in getting me into a normal shoe.

Comfortable, helps with foot stability
These are perfect for my sneakers. Make sure you take the old inserts out. They do slip out when you take your foot out but easily go back in. Makes a big difference walking.

Sized exactly as ordered, a budget backup pair
These thin metal inserts fit easily into my slip on shoes, adding very little bulk. They work better in sneakers I can tighten- adding the firm surface my podiatrist prescribed for my bone spur prone feet. The slip ons are convenient, my heel slips out a bit but the ball of the foot is still protected. Note that these are a bargain So donโt expect the same performance as a $55 brand name one piece curved to fit your arch. I have those for my long distance walking and standing, this is just what I needed for gardening and casual shoes, relieving the pain I was getting when I walked too much in the cheap shoes.

Perfect Post-Op Support for Long Walks
I injured my foot, and my doctor recommended these carbon fiber insoles for my recovery, especially for walking long distances. They really helped fix my issue, and I even realized I had other foot alignment problems while using them! They are very comfortable for support, but I strongly recommend against working out or doing anything that requires bending your feet in these. Because the insoles are rigid and do not bend, you could hurt yourself if you try to flex your foot. Great for support, but stay on flat ground!
